We travelled here to find the U-boat closed off and renovations underway to both the ferry terminal and the attraction itself. Hopefully it'll re-open soon. From the areas visible through the fencing it looked like an interesting place. There is a also a smaller replica of one of the first ever (Victorian) submarine designs to see, just across the car park. My plan had been to park here and get the ferry across to Liverpool to see the Albert Dock, which I still think would be a great trip when it's all open again.

Was disappointed to find the submarine closed off for what seems to be long-term renovations. Still a very cool sight to see, but I'd love to be able to explore it more close up. My mum was able to go inside years ago, and said it was a fascinating experience. Hopefully I'll eventually get a chance. There are a few other things to see in the vicinity, so still worth it to visit this side of the river.

Hello, I was extremely sorry to read that the U534 had been cut into 4 parts, I thought it was crazy, then when I visited it I realized the great work done. I spent the whole day looking at it as well as the gallery with the recovered elements. Congratulations!!! Dante from Argentina
