We travelled here to find the U-boat closed off and renovations underway to both the ferry terminal and the attraction itself. Hopefully it'll re-open soon. From the areas visible through the fencing it looked like an interesting place. There is a also a smaller replica of one of the first ever (Victorian) submarine designs to see, just across the car park.

My mum was able to go inside years ago, and said it was a fascinating experience. Hopefully I'll eventually get a chance.
