Been here a few times now, we have dined in and taken away.
First of all I’m really fussy about food I’m the type of person that would want to pay a little bit more to eat something I enjoy rather than going to the cheapest place so this review doesn’t come lightly.
First of all the staff are all friendly and helpful, the atmosphere/vibe in the place is one of a chilled out / relaxed nature which I really like. I can’t quite put my finger on it but his has quite a quirky / jazzy feel to it which I really wasn’t expecting when we first went.
Now for the food, the food is unreal and I’m not just saying that I’ve been here multiple times and can only say good things. We’ve had multiple things of the menu and each time it has exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend the Philly cheese steak baguette it was actually better than the ones I’ve had in the states.
The roast dinners are the best in the area in my opinion too, we actually had one today which is why I’m leaving this review!
The iced coffee is unreal - I don’t drink caffeine so go for the decaf option which you can’t tell the difference.
If you haven’t been here I would definitely recommend going even if it’s just for a coffee you won’t be...
Read moreGreat place for a quick coffee before grabbing the train to Liverpool or the ferry (Ireland or Mersey). Sticking around a bit longer means you get a chance to try an impossibly tasty menu. I've lost track of the times I've watched a small family fall silent as they enjoyed tucking into a meal together. The staff are quick to recommend options and the menu is always fresh and exciting. I use it as a place to work some days in the week and I've never had poor service. The staff are friendly and an endless resource for local events. They seem really tuned in to the best things to do in the area. Open later at the end of the week they serve drinks and there's a really chill vibe. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the live music they have planned. Anyway, give Liberty Bell a visit. I can't think of a better cafe this side...
