Me and my husband chose to visit here for a Sunday roast, not sure if there's any other places in birkenhead for it.. food was absolutely delicious yummy, good generous portion size, nice selection of vegetables, meat was lovely.. we had a bottle of rose wine and a chocolate tart with vanilla icecream for dessert and the price was very reasonable decent.. would definitely recommend this place if your looking for somewhere with beautiful views of Liverpool and quality drinks and food.. also decorated lovely and customer service was excellent.. very warm friendly staff Xxx

Brilliant location, matched equally by the quality of the food and service. Admittedly, I didn't personally eat here, I just had drinks, so I'm going by what my business colleague rated the food, which was 5*. Just opposite Hamilton Square train station, Liberty Bell is split into 2 rooms, catering for between 40-50 people. The main services area as you enter the building caters for around 16. The main room to the left probably seats twice as many people. The building is well decorated, extremely clean and the food was equally well presented.

Really interesting and varied menu. Some great favourites for breakfast and brunch, cooked breakfast, burgers, pizza and loaded fries.. but some very tasty unusual burgers/ sandwiches like Bhaji smuggler - Onion bhaji, peanut coriander chutney, raita, lime-pickled onions and Bombay mix, on a ciabatta., With fries. Great coffees and lethal cakes, huge ones from the local polish bakery. Good place to hide out and right next to Hamilton Square station if you're heading into or out of town to meet people.

Been here a few times now, we have dined in and taken away.

First of all I’m really fussy about food I’m the type of person that would want to pay a little bit more to eat something I enjoy rather than going to the cheapest place so this review doesn’t come lightly.

First of all the staff are all friendly and helpful, the atmosphere/vibe in the place is one of a chilled out / relaxed nature which I really like. I can’t quite put my finger on it but his has quite a quirky / jazzy feel to it which I really wasn’t expecting when we first went.

Now for the food, the food is unreal and I’m not just saying that I’ve been here multiple times and can only say good things. We’ve had multiple things of the menu and each time it has exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend the Philly cheese steak baguette it was actually better than the ones I’ve had in the states.

The roast dinners are the best in the area in my opinion too, we actually had one today which is why I’m leaving this review!

The iced coffee is unreal - I don’t drink caffeine so go for the decaf option which you can’t tell the difference.

If you haven’t been here I would definitely recommend going even if it’s just for a coffee you won’t be...

Great place for a quick coffee before grabbing the train to Liverpool or the ferry (Ireland or Mersey). Sticking around a bit longer means you get a chance to try an impossibly tasty menu. I've lost track of the times I've watched a small family fall silent as they enjoyed tucking into a meal together. The staff are quick to recommend options and the menu is always fresh and exciting. I use it as a place to work some days in the week and I've never had poor service. The staff are friendly and an endless resource for local events. They seem really tuned in to the best things to do in the area. Open later at the end of the week they serve drinks and there's a really chill vibe. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the live music they have planned. Anyway, give Liberty Bell a visit. I can't think of a better cafe this side...

Went to buy a much needed cup of tea,£2:00p after waiting for it,far too hot very watery because only a tiny drop of milk, stood right by doorway because table far too close to it,you can easily be knocked into and spill the red hot drink over a customer sitting near very near.anyone wanting to brew the tea and add sugar. The tea was disgusting it ended up in the bin where seats are.The staff seemed miserable and i did not see a smile or anything, all i know is i will never go again, far too expensive and very shoddy service,i heard complaints they made about staff member being late again, just to say customers should not hear this, there was far too much what i would call chaotic running around.sort...
