A new food hall in the historic Woodside Ferry Terminal. There are five different kitchens in the complex which serve a central seating area, upstairs area (where there is a bar) and a lovely outside seating area with high quality wooden seating and great panoramic views over the Mersey to Liverpool! The kitchens are Refreshment Rooms (English pub food), Sukothai (Thai), Baccaro (Pizza), Cowfish Smokehouse (Burgers etc) and a Mexican street food place. Myself and my two friends ordered from three separate kitchens, you are given a pager when you order to let you know when your food is ready. The Mexican, Baccaro and Refreshment Rooms all excelled and produced three great meals in double quick time! The only down side is the steep, narrowish main steps up to the upper seating area. There are another set of stairs and disabled lifts too! All in all a grand experience!

My wife and I booked here for our wedding, it was very last minute due to constantly changing government guidelines regarding the covid19 situation. It was absolutley perfect, they went above and beyond what we were expecting. The food was amazing and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The roof terrace was beautiful and they allowed my wife and I the chance to have some photos for our special day. Staff were wonderful and it was just perfect in every way. Cannot recomend strongly enough checking this place out. Great venue , amazing food, brilliant attentive staff, can't thank everyone there enough for making our special that much more special.

Afternoon/Evening visit to Woodside. Great place to spend the afternoon and evening. Stunning views of Liverpool from the outside terrace and when the suns out there is no better place to sit. Food from Haku was fabulous as usual. The evening entertainment was also excellent and it was just a shame that there were so few people out to experience it. The outside terrace is such a big plus point and it is unfortunate that table service is no longer in operation and also the clearing of tables was very slow. This should be improved and as the warmer days come then this will add so much to what could be the place to spend your summer afternoons.

During A Nice Sunny Early Afternoon In The School Holidays & Searching For Something Different To Soothe My Slight Hunger & Those Of Our 3 Young Children But Not Wanting To Venture To Far & Somewhere By A Riverbank Or Beach To Take A Slow Brisk Walk 🚶‍♂️ With Our Pet Dogs, We Suddenly By Accident Found A Perfect Place To Fulfill All These Needs & More. From Many Specialised Home Cooked Foods Outlets Where Its Cooked In Of Our Eyes So The Hunger Could Build Further As We Could Virtually Taste The Blends Of Different Ingredients Being Flashed Around For Our Own Perusal Of Joys To Satisfaction Of What We Where About To Receive. One Of The Children Decided On The Popular Favourite From Scooby's A Delicious Juicy 4oz Cheese 'N' Bacon Burger Served Automatically With A Generous Handful Of Tasty Fries. Whilst Our Eldest Daughter Spotted An Outstanding Kids Menu Deal Of Combo Of A Freshly Snap Beef Birria Filled Taco With The Most Tastiest Halloumi Cubes Ever & Included Was Her Favourite Fresh Churros With A Lovely Sweet Caramel Dip Pot Or She Could've Chosen A Mexican Fruit Pot To Finish Off... All Of That For Only £5 From LowSlow&Dough Where It Was Fresher Than The Wild Daffodils That Grow By & Alot More Healthier For Her Than The Usual Fast Food Outlets She Would Normally Choose. Our Youngest Settled For Homemade (& Yes I Mean Homemade Delicious) Fish Fingers 🐟 With Fries & Beans From The Refreshment Rooms. My Beautiful Soul Mate ❤ Wife Who Loves Thai Food Went Directly To Bamboo Thai & Ordered The Large Chicken Pad Thai That Just Lavished In Flavours Of Fresh Ingredients Yet Not To Hot On The Tongue Where You Need A Cold Glass Of Milk To Calm Things Down Because I (Yes I) Who Doesn't Normally Do Spices Of Hot, Tried It & It Was Outstanding I Could've Taken This Dish From Her Should She Of Let Me Lol. I Thought Well If We Are Travelling Our Worlds 🌎 By Our Taste buds Then I Will Willingly Try The Freshly Made Salmon Sushi 🍣 Box That I Struggled To Finish From HAKU But I Had To Even To Complement This Fine Knowledgeable Chef Who Made It For Me. We Sat On A Balcony With Ample Fresh Clean Seating & Tables In The Open Air On The Roof Looking Over The Calm River Mersey Watching The Ships 🚢 Pass By With The Business & A Beautiful Warm Feel View Of Home As Liverpool's Waterfront Gave Out A Spectacular Scenery Where We Literally Could've Been Any Where In The World. About Half An Hour After Finishing Our Meals & The Children Wanting A Little Treat I Took Them Downstairs To The Amazing Homemade Ice Cream & Professional Coffee Shop Being Caffè Cream 🍦 Where A Wonderful Member Of Staff Told Us Of The Flavours & Offered Us A Little Taste If We Wished, The Wife Went For The Accidentally Made But Best Seller Jaffa Cake Ice Cream , Whilst Two Of The Children Asked Politely For The Bubblegum Ice Cream Whilst My Chocoholic Daughter Of Course You Guessed It Chocolate. I Asked The Barista If He Could Recommend A Coffee With A Good Wake Me Up Kick Of Caffeine But Not To Strong & Not Very Milky Like The Latte I Usually Choose Elsewhere Because Its The Only One I Know (Lol) I Took His Recommendation Of An Americano & Boy Did It Really Hit The Spot Where He Said It Would Giving Us At Least A Good Hours Worth Of Added Energies To Walk Our Two Pet Pouches Who Loved The Tasty Scraps We Gave Them & Where Very Pleased To Feel Welcome In A Place With The Family For A Change & Drinks Bowls Filled & Ready For There Thirsty Tongues. Definitely An Afternoon Well Spent In A Hidden Gem On Our Doorstep That We Never Knew Was There & Opens 12-7 Seven Days A Week & Give A Generous Student Discounts & Many Drinks Deals In The Tipsy Duck That We'll Have To Try Next (Without The Children Of Course). The Staff Are All Highly Visible Cleaning, Vegan & Vegetarian Options Everywhere & Will Cover Every Dietary Needs. Nice and different venue for drinks, the food choice is dire however, several occasions we've tried various food vendors, most were good but avoid Scooby's for burgers if you can, how they can still trade I don't know, cross contamination is rife in that kitchen and general hygiene is unbelievable, all in plain sight too yet have the cheek to charge full price for the amount of incorrect practices is insane honestly. We ate there on Saturday, spotted the 'head chef' if you can call him that drop his towel on the floor, pick it back up then proceed to 'clean' the food surfaces, then seen both the head chef and the other cook touch raw food and not wash their hands when picking up salad/toppings or any kitchen utensils, then seen the second cook pick up the trays with what would be our food in it with his hands which he didn't bother washing and proceed to try and serve us the food we had paid for,, just avoid as much as you can, food poisoning guaranteed, they don't care for food standards or customer safety.

The other places there are better, but honestly just go the bars there for a drink and for food just go Wetherspoons down the road...
