Stoke Park is located around 12 minutes away from Guildford High Street by walk. It is a 52 acre open park with trees on a corner, children’s park on another side with a paddling pool and model boat pond, skate boarding rink on yet another side. The Stoke park itself is open always, the children’s park may have some time slots though. The space and openness of park provides a sense of feel good and freedom. People with dogs often bring them to the park for a walk and some play. In summer it’s also a good place to have picnics and generally absorb the sunlight.

Great park for relaxing. It’s quite big, you have to spend 10 mins to walk around. It also has skate zone where people come to play skateboard and scooter. I often go there for running, there’re also a lot of runner too. This park is so big so many people bring their dog and children to come and play here, so it’s a family place. Many people come to practice for sport too, and it has running lane on the grass. It’s super nice here.

Loved visiting this park, great to see these Dragon's Teeth used in WW2 Known as 'dragon's teeth', these fortifications were reportedly designed to immobilise tanks by lifting their treads off the ground from below, effectively disabling them in World War 2! The pyramidal blocks, made from reinforced concrete and arranged in irregular rows, could additionally channel the flow of enemy traffic into designated "killing zones".

And excellent day at an event that had on show the future printing champions if tomorrow. 🤸♂️🤸 All the clubs involved were well represented despite the weather, the show went on. 🏃🏃♀️ Parking was good and the officials communicated well and kept all parents engaged and involved in their children's activities. A good quality track with good access all round. In the end, we were ALL Singing in the rain 🌧

We had an amazing fireworks night organised by The Star in Godalming. There were food trucks, live music (a great Mumford and sons tribute band) The park was really big and great size for an event like this. Can’t really comment on the park as it was dark other than that.
