Hubby and I decided to get an evening meal here whilst staying next door at the Premier Inn. We had been on the road all day on gallery deliveries and decided to eat here rather than travelling too far. The restaurant was not too busy but still had people in and the staff all seemed to be bustling around looking after everybody. We were shown to a booth by Jasmine who took care to seat us in an area where it wasn't too noisy. It seemed everyone had space around their tables which was nice to see. We ordered drinks and mains and we both chose a Cobb salad, one with chicken and one with salmon. We also ordered a side of halloumi fries and some onion rings. The salads were plenty full enough with a good quantity of the cooked element, which was fresh and hot. We did notice that there was no avocado (which was listed on the menu) so we mentioned it and promptly received a side serving of delicious fresh avocado for each of us to add into the salad. The empty plates were cleared promptly and after a few minutes consideration we ordered desserts. We decided on apple pie with custard and cookie dough with ice cream. We commented that John especially likes a lot of custard with his apple pie so Jasmine made sure that he received two small jugs of custard instead of just one. When it came to pay the bill we noticed that the desert had not been added into the total and so we pointed this out and paid the correct amount. Jasmine thanked us for being honest but it really is the only way to be. The bill was just over £50. The restaurant was clean and all the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was very well prepared and we were very pleased. Thank you to Jasmine for being friendly and helpful whilst at the same time being attentive (and we did notice that you were like this with everybody despite obviously having had a long day). We stay at this Premier Inn quite often so will be happy to return here for a meal another time. Thank you :)

Beefeater! Wow!! This was a first time visit to the Beefeater chain although I have known they exist for many years. I am glad that my first experience with this great chain was with my favourite human being of all time, my son! We both approved. Very highly indeed. The welcome was fantastic, the young man at the bar very courteous and polite, the service was definitely worth the commitment that this will be the first of many visits to Parkway, at least until graduation day for my son in a couple of years. We both went in craving steaks, but the menu was so vast and we both ended up settling for the mixed grill. There were no regrets at all about that choice. The food was served in good time, a much appreciated thing bearing in mind that I was hungry. I was very much impressed with the size of the meal. The food was really very tasty and cooked to my request. My son, who is more adventurous with the mediums and rares, was very satisfied with his plate too. I think Beefeater have just secured two customers for life. They outdid themselves and I highly recommend this magnificent food chain with no reservations.

The place is unbelievably dirty, the floor everywhere is covered with layer of food and liquid, everything is sticky. The waiter was rude. The table was sticky so we had to wipe it with wet wipes. We asked her to replace cutlery on our table as it was all sticky and dirty. She did not apologize, replaced the cutlery and then took the dirty cutlery and layed the table NEXT TO us with it... This is rude and disgusting. Note, all of this was happening in an empty pub with olny very few tables of customers. I could understand forgetting to wipe one table when the restaurant is full, but the restaurant was empty and ALL the tables we tried were sticky. At this point the food taste doesn't really matter. Considering how unclean the place and cutlery was I do not trust the food hygiene. Save your time and DO NOT come here PS: The olny nice person among staff was a barmen, who was doing is job well, all the glasses were clean and at the end he came to us as a waiter. The only person doing his job, even cleaned the tables around us after sitting with lots of rubbish around for an hour or more.

Well, what can I say about the experience that me and my son had this afternoon being a New Year afternoon? We thought would go out for a nice meal when we got there we were asked what drinks we would like then we weren’t really asked what type of drinks that we wanted, we were put in the corner on the corner very smelt and it was dark and gloomy. We were sat nearly an hour without anybody coming up to us and asking us what food we would like to order so we caught one of the staff she said that she would come over bear in mind we didn’t know that she was new so we asked for our order Then something was out of the menu and this information was not relayed back to us. In the meantime we stopped another waiter and we said why have we not been served or asked what food we would like? I said to them that the other two families that came in after us got their meal before us why is it , so he said I will call the manager. The manager came over and plane face really no no expression on his face he said to me how did I know something was out of order? If we had no one coming to ask for our order? We then said because we stopped somebody and they said , something was out of order and I turned round and said why wasn’t we escalated that back to us and then we could’ve ordered something else this was nearly 1 hour so the Manager then said you can either sit here have the drinks or you can leave I then asked him if he had a problem with us he said no . this was very disgusting. No manager should be saying that to anyone at least in a place where we were saving food we were absolutely dismayed. My son turned round and said just give us the bill and then we’ll go so there was no nothing no remorse no sorry no nothing absolutely nothing the manager ought to be sacked. He did not do his job properly and he did not in any way shape or form had customer services professionalism. He ought to be sacked . Well, I have now sent letter to the Omanbusman and the proprietor and the chairman of this chain. I thought that there was a sense of discriminative service against us. We are not happy but in the end found a nice place to eat with good atmosphere and good customer services all round I will endeavour to report this and report that this service has gone under and the manager needs to be replaced. I have never been treated like this in another food chain or in other services, we are very upset and my turned around the manager and said just give us a bill we will leave. We are not eating maybe...

Paid for breakfast whilst staying at Premier Inn (next door, which is actually joined to Beefeater). Breakfast was lovely, loads of selection of spread, coffee machine, pancakes, bagels, white/brown bread. Can’t go wrong. First day was made to place our order for hot breakfast (some reason the waiter did not know what a “sunny side egg” meant) and second day they had a buffet system, but food seem to be less than warm. It seems like most of the food lacks any salt and by the time you use the salt shaker (which are salt rocks) the food gets too salty.

Not much selection of bakery or fruits, would love to see more fruit, yoghurt and healthier breakfast options

As for dinner: probably horrendous as I was starving. My partner had ordered a burger meal, which lacked flavour and salt he said. As for me, I had ordered a ribeye steak which I asked to be made medium well with garlic butter and peppercorn sauce to go with it. Once it arrived, the steak looked like it was grilled and almost burnt. Well overdone I’ll say, no flavour, dry and a waste of a ribeye. Had it sent back as my braces could not eat the “steak” at all. Second time round, cooked a little better but uneven as some of the meat was well done and some was medium well. No garlic butter or salt to taste; the peppercorn sauce could have been more creamier, so everything was reallly bland. And for some reason my portion of chips decreased when my meal arrived the second time. Considering it wasn’t busy at the time, I felt that the cooks could have spent more time on flavouring and looking at the quality of the food.

The staff was very helpful and burger was mediocre but don’t bother getting a steak. Can’t comment on dessert, as my main meal let me down so I didn’t bother ordering any. Prepare to have quite bland food as most of it lacks any flavour and seems to...
