I apologize in advance for the long tale, but buyer beware! At my appointment, I explained that I hated bras and had never found one that fit comfortably. I was at the end of my rope, and Mi-Lady was my last hope. Marcy was very kind and understanding and immediately put me in two everyday bras, a "walking bra" and a strapless bra, to the tune of over $300. I initially felt fine in the bras and wore the walking bra out, but within literally 30 minutes, the underwire was stabbing me. I couldn't go back at the time but returned two days later. Marcy had darts put in the bra. The following week, I returned with the everyday bras because my breasts slid under the underwire; clearly, the band was too big. She had darts put in those bras as well. I returned a third time because the darts didn't resolve the problem. Marcy's solution was an extender; how does that even work? However, as others have mentioned, Marcy is an expert at love-bombing and gaslighting. I now have four utterly useless bras; the walking bra is so uncomfortable that I've never worn it.
Additionally, the policies are so strict that if you walk out that door with a bra, you have that bra for life. Lesson learned: I will never buy from them again. I have since had an ONLINE fitting with ThirdLove, and I have three beautiful, well-fitting, and COMFORTABLE bras. Now that I know my size, which is all I wanted in the first place, I can feel free to buy the bras on my own without all the high-pressure tactics.
As a word of caution, if Marcy responds to this review, be wary of her attempts to improve her image. I'm not the only one who has noticed her love-bombing and gaslighting. Her disregard for customers' experiences and feelings is concerning. If a customer feels disrespected, that's their truth. I'm not claiming disrespect, but I was certainly gaslighted. It's important to be aware of these tactics when dealing with Mi-Lady.
This was not at all a personal attack on Marcy. I addressed the issues I had with the sales. Further, the fact that I came in multiple times is the problem. I was offered no solutions; suggestions that didn't work, yes, but no solutions. Finally, had I been fitted correctly in the first place, this review would not have been necessary.
I'm not the only customer who has reported this kind of experience in your store, which does indicate that there is a problem that should be addressed. If you perceive this as an attack rather than an opportunity to improve and grow, that's your prerogative.

   Read moreThe rudest owner and here is my story: I called on a Thursday and confirmed my bra fitting appointment with the owner's husband Gary for Saturday. He was very nice. On Friday evening I was teaching dance and I use my phone for my music. My phone kept ringing from Mi -Lady. I kept hanging up the phone as I thought it my be spam, as I get over 10 spam calls a day. I finally realized it was them and used my text feature - "I will call you back". The owner never left me a message, when it was clear I was not picking up my phone and yes, I was hanging up because after 4 times in a row, it was distracting while I was trying to teach! I call the morning of my appointment and state to Gary, I realized someone was calling me last night but I could not answer my phone. I am confirming that I will be there today at 3:00. Gary said great, we will see you then. I walk in the door a little before 3 and the owner says to me, I put someone else in your appointment slot. I actually thought she was kidding. I sad, Why? She said because I tried to call you last night (over 3 times and the phone kept hanging up). So I explained (as stated above). With absolutely no understanding in her voice, she says well, you didn't pick up the phone and she says I waited here until 6:45 for you to call me back. I was pretty shocked at her lack of professionalism and understanding. I said but I called Gary this morning to confirm and he said, great we will see you later. She said he never told me. NOT my problem! She did not even offer to reschedule. There was no niceness to this woman. She called m rude. Hmm, how ironic! DO not go here. Nordstromâs, Victoria SecretsâŠ.. you name it, I tried it. It is so overwhelming to have to go through all the racks of bras in a store, only to find that nothing works! đ« But as soon as I walked in Mi-Lady, I felt like everything was going to be OKAY! Marcy (letâs just call her the Bra Mom, bc she is) took one look at my frame and knew exactly what I needed. I didnât have to fish through the sea of million bras. She honed in on exactly what I needed and gave me bras that fit me for the first time in years!!!Soooooo happy and excited that FINALLY, I have something that works!!!!! If I could convey the emoji where there are angels singing, it would go right here! Marcy and Shira - thank you so much!!! Not sure you know how much this means to me. You guys are the best!
And as far as the negative review about needing an appt goesâŠ.. Marcy and Shira spent an hour with me to find what I needed. It just would not work any other way. Some things in life just need to be scheduled. So I would say a negative review for that is unwarranted. Marcy and Shira are warm and welcoming. After one visit, heck, I feel like I can invite them for thanksgiving. Made me feel like family!!!
