I found the Amy Van Andel library to be a great place for all ages of the community to enjoy reading inside or outside of the building. There are tons of wonderful sitting areas tucked away in corners where one can sit and read without any distractions. It comes to no surprise that there is a wide variety of extraordinary books sitting upon the shelves.

Open spaces, reading chairs with high sides for privacy and charging built in for phone, tablet and/or computer. "The community" church is across the road, a grassy divide with benches and a parking lot leaving a nice view when the sun isn't straight ahead, curtains are easy to use when the sun bothers your work.

Such a beautiful library. 2 floors and an elevator. Rooms to study in or hold conferences. You can reserve the rooms. Outside seating In the middle of the building. Very clean and well kept.

It’s so nice to have a library in Ada! Overall very clean and bright library. I love that late fees are no longer a thing but I see how that can be an issue for others!

Small kids play area but my kids enjoy it. I did find several very large spiders(alive) in the room that they do story hour in; along with several other bugs and lots of cobwebs. So that was kinda disturbing to me.

I always forget they don’t open until noon on Thursdays, which somehow often ends up being the day I suggest the library to my kids and then remember they aren’t open until later. Also smaller parking area so if there are events going on downtown Ada, people will park there and it’s had to find a...

This library is fine, my review is for KDL as a whole. There are no late fees, which is great for irresponsible patrons. Unfortunately now nobody returns their items on time. Pair that with the fact that KDL doesn't have enough copies of the classics and you often have several people waiting a long time with holds on these important books. Either bring back the late fees or invest in more copies of the classics. If you don't know which books are classics, then being a librarian is probably a poor choice for you. Referencing the Mensa Excellence in Reading lists would be...

Beautiful, modern library setting with lots of rooms for meeting and studying. The book inventory has improved over the years, though I use the app to reserve my books for easier pick up. KDL is a great library system that has tons of resources. Hours could be better. Staying open until 6 PM on the nights they are not open until 8 would be helpful for those in the community who work 9-5. We go at least once a month and use the Cascade branch...
