This shopping center has some interesting quirks: A nice view of the estuary between Alameda and Oakland (there are some industrial buildings across the water and some graffiti on the riprap, but it's still cool-looking).
A ... sailing ship?... is often docked there. Not just a little sailboat. Not a yacht. Multiple masts. I wonder about the story.
Sometimes around dusk, someone sets up their electric guitar amp, playing classic rock tunes, quite well. I don't think they sing.
There are a few feral cats whom I think are being fed by the pet store at the end.
Sometimes there are break-ins in the parking lot. KEEP VALUABLES OUT OF SIGHT AND LOCK YOUR CAR.
Nob Hill is expensive and HUGE (if you wanna get your steps in out of the rain) but has a decent selection. The cheese-steak shop rings a certain bell for when you just have to have one. There's a reasonably quiet Starbucks. I'm not crazy about Round Table or Baskin-Robbins, but if I were having a kid's birthday party, that might be a...
Read morein the mall area I believe they have the Nob Hill's food the gas station they got rid of Taco Bell I did like that place. They have Pet Food Express where I go I went to Wingstop there I was not impressed with it it used to be good a few years ago I feel it's gotten a lot worse so don't ask me for a rating on this side won't give it a high rating a bunch of young kids in their fulling around all the time and when I was there I ordered a 30-piece with no sauce is on it easy enough right. Read more( Possibly 4 1/2-4 stars only if you deduct for overpriced in some ways) So the matinee was extremely cheap ($7?) The food court had a nice selection, and although the Subway worker basically ignored me (but not the child I was with) (I mean she literally just attended to my child then skipped me and went on to the next customer...) but the Asian place with BBQ(?) meat in the same food court was quite delicious and ample. Although, for 3 people (1 being a child), the food altogether was about $45? Is that expensive? The mall had a big and tall sale (forgot which place ) which had 50% off some clothes (some $15)... Nice looking clothes, nice and warm (even thermals). The theater entrance is obscurely on the lower floor, which is a...
