The worse company I ever had to deal with!!!
I called them to get service a few months ago. Over the phone, the saleswoman wanted to run my credit, however I asked her not to do so since I'm in the process of refinancing my house and I don't want any inquiries on my credit report. She said that without credit check, I will have to pay $100 refundable deposit which I agreed to pay. Long story short, the technician never showed up, so I decided to cancel and go with AT&T. Here the story gets interesting, I only got $93 of my deposit. For some reason Comcast decided to keep $7. Perhaps, it's only $7 but if Comcast does it to many other customers, it's a lot of money that Comcast is stealing from the public. Not enough, I also noticed through the process of refinancing my house that there is an inquiry on my credit, made by Comcast. Luckily it didn't efect my credit score much. Comcast shouldn't have check my credit since I never gave them the authorisation to run a credit check.

Read moreIf I could put zero stars, I would. The staff is not at fault at all (I'm sure they are perfectly kind and helpful people), but this is the worst, most unreliable internet in the Bay Area. I cannot even begin to describe how negative my experience has been. My internet cuts out randomly on a weekly basis, the xfinity automated phone hangs up on me every single time I try to use it, and they are literally no help when there are outages. You'll be paying $75 a month (minimum) for internet that does not work, is slow, and then having to spend money at coffee shops just to use their wifi when yours is out. When there is an outage, which is essentially a guarantee with this company, they don't even give you an estimate on when it will be restored. On the rare occasion that they provide you an estimate, it is almost always a solid 4-6 hours off and you will miss an entire day worth of internet (that you are paying for). Read moreTHIS IS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE REP SERVICE: Had services for a day then cancelled it. It reminded me why I hadn't had Comcast cable in over three years. To difficult to get service hooked up. My address was block due to previous tenants. THEN they nickled and dimed me for services, $2 here and there. THEN they wanted to charge me $39 for a Tech to come out, saying that someone before me could have had other services and that's why the self starter kit didn't work/. When I told them the unit was vacant since May, when the other people moved out, they didn't care. THEN the tech wouldn't be able to come out until Sunday, mind you it was Monday so I'm looking at a blue screen for days. The automated lady would send sound waves for activation and nothing activated. I called to cancel and THEN they wanted to waive al the previous fees. ME cool. Tool my coins over to ATT Uverse. Set up services yesterday 8/5 on line and they came today at 9 am and services was hooked up for FREE by their Tech. Comcast yall need to get it...
