Wow, haven't visited Mike and Linda since Covid. My mistake!
Linda is still amazingly helpful and generous with her expertise. Mike shares memes with me, utterly amazing. We talked current news and what not, always enjoyable to speak with a fellow State of Jefferson champion.
Had to raise some cash and reluctantly sold off a 100 oz Engelhard silver bar. It's always horrible to me, I feel like I'm selling off a child. I still think of bar tabs and any receipt really in ounces of silver. Got the best price from these folks, a buck under spot. It was the furthest away, but I hadn't visited in a longgg time so rather than going to someone closer, I made the long trek to Alameda.
Still highly recommend this shop, easy street parking and there's actually some armed security on the Lincoln Ave. side due to the weed dispensary...
Read moreI bought a few coins there through the years, they are really nice, I never had to change the coins but I need money right now so I went to see if they could buy the coins.
I got to the location, excellent customer service but I had 2 centerarios, 37.5 grams and the gram that day was $42.89 so 37.50x42.89=1,608.375, that's with out counting how much I paid for the coin.
What I got for coin was $1,480, in total I got $2,960.
So I lost ($3,216.75-$2970=$246.75) $246.75 without counting what I paid for the coins.
So if you are in a bad situation, don't count on them to feel sympathy for your.
