Visiting from out of state. Martha was the employee working. She was wonderful, very welcoming and a real promoter of the area, the history and local culture. As a career Army veteran, I was honored to see how the museum honored Veterans and the contributions the military has provided to the region. Equally, I am so PLEASED to see how the museum honored all of the cultures in the area, Latinx and African American history This is our history as Americans and this site does an outstanding job at recognizing and honoring those cultures that make us AMERICANS! Really enjoyed it....

The building itself is got very unique history, and they have a really nice collection of historical artifacts for the area. Really very well done for a small town museum.
The docent at the front door was very polite and knowledgeable but then she also kind of get out of your way and let you explore the place. I recommend this to anybody who's traveling in one to learn more...

The Alamogordo area is rich in history and I feel I have barely scratched the surface. Thank you...
