It’s a little dated but there are several Renos in the works, including a new marquis, safety lights and entrance, as well as some improvements to the infrastructure inside. It’s easily located between 12th and 10th Street, and with plenty of two ways and parking, it’s very easy to access. It’s disabled parking friendly and offers several ramps, large doors and lighting. I never had any qualms about my safety and the people are so friendly. Many of the shows don’t allow recording or photography during the performances, so call ahead and confirm if it’s allowed. I brought my smartphone and selfie stick and just used it before, during intermission and after the show. Minor recommendation, don’t choose orchestra row A-C, because you’ll have just a little bit of difficulty seeing the actors/ performers at the back end of the stage. It’s a spot that really does offer quality productions and there are plenty of places to eat along the adjacent main road. The gorgeous sunsets, kind faces and focus on the arts, make this place really special. It’s worth the visit.

Diagram of seating area is incorrect, chose seats a few rows from stage. We ended up seated in first row in front of stage and couldn't see some of the performances. Some of the people talked and kids noisy during the performances. It was a bit uncomfortable. Acrobatics performers were wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful.

We saw The Wizard of Oz... We were first timers and this was a really great experience. Very easy to buy tickets online. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting and so friendly. We definitely would recommend The Flickinger to anyone. BTW the show was amazing and made us laugh and cry... Truly a wonderful experience

Multiple times I have been ignored by the children's theatre, along with staff from flickinger. I have been in the theatre multiple times, paid for acting classes for my kid more than once. Everytime they promise you a CD of their performance to add to her resume reel. Both times I got nothing. Now I understand with covid-19 things have been hard, but now they opened back up, have performances going on, my kid doesn't even get a chance to audition? I've been taking my kid 4 hours away just to do auditions I Santa Fe. This place is a waste of money, waste of your time. I've never had staff just forget about your messages never reach about, oh except when they need a help out. Which I've done before for them as a volunteer. Still the people...

Attending events here is like taking a walk back in time. There is a huge stage draped by a luxurious stage curtain. Access to theater area is by ramps rather than staircases. A few steps to access the balcony area. Family-friendly environment- soft drinks, popcorn, etc sold at concession stand. Women's restroom always very clean & I would assume the men's room to be the same. Wonderful sound system. Have had seats all over the theater & view has been great in each section. Staff members are a pleasure, - courteous, kind, friendly & efficient. Look forward to many...
