Memories Fine Dining — Restaurant in Alamogordo

Attentive and friendly service! The waitress checked on us quite often. The coffee was left over from the morning and tasted burnt, so the waitress made us a fresh pot and didn’t charge us for it at all. My husband loved his green chili cheese burger and fries. Oh, I almost forgot, the appetizer while you wait for your meal is a fruit plate. It’s delectable! So much more healthful than bread and butter! I got salmon. It came with hearty beef stew. The stew was delicious, the broccoli and peas both good, and the salmon tasty. I enjoyed it all. We took my mother-in-law here for a good meal. What we received was mediocre experience at a premium cost masquerading as 'fine dining'. The wait staff smelled like cigarettes, the burgers were overcooked (even after a refire of a charred burger), the tomato bisque was unappetizing, and the fries appeared to be frozen ore-ida type fries over cooked and church-ed up with course salt/pepper and possibly some rosemary seasoning. Went for lunch. Small to the point Menu. This is a plus. Have to say not so good service. Ordered soup with a salad and Waitress totally forgot my soup. Then charged me for it. She took it off my bill. Wouldn't be a big deal, but 3 others at my table had the same thing happen. Was really looking forward to trying their Potato soup! My salad was ok for price.
