DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE!!! I’ve been working there for about 8 months now. I’ve been being paid under the table up until about 3 months ago. I got Covid a month ago and tested negative 15 days ago. While I was in quarantine they hired two new girls. Since I’ve been negative they’ve refused to put me on the schedule. As of last night I am now fired after pushing for them to put me on the schedule. Due to me being paid under the table for so long I do not reach the requirements to collect unemployment from the boss who never does anything with this restaurant other than collect his money and our time cards. Many employees are paid under the table and the manager tries to keep it under wraps. There is only ONE manager and she only works the day shift. There is NO manager (PIC) working night shift. Most of the girls DO NOT wash their hands. Some of them have STOLEN my tips. I’ve had the night cook come out from the back and yell at me and some of the girls in front of customers, cuss us out in Spanish, call us very inappropriate things, she’s thrown a plate of enchiladas across the counter at me to where it almost hit me on my head but thankfully I caught it, and many many other things yet the boss sees no problem there. I’ve been told by many people, customers and employees alike, that one employee who likes to think she is the manager, Becky, was the main reason I am not able to return to work strictly because she does not like me. The ONLY food you should ever trust getting there is from the day cook 7am-2pm, he does not get his bare hands all over your food and treat it like the plates are for animals. If not then watch out for hair, bugs, spiders, and plastic. Those are ALL things that I have seen come from plates made by the night shift crew. ALL is very unprofessional, unclean and most are liars. Think twice if you plan on...

Do not waste your time going here. my family stopped here last Sunday. We came in and sat down. We waited and waited for someone to come give us menus. we could see the waitresses looking at us but no one came. Another couple came in about 10 minutes after us and were greated right away. We were about to walk out when a waitress finally came and apologized saying we snuck in and they didn't see us which was obviously untrue. A different waitress came up to us and made disrespectful comments on the football jerseys we were wearing and asked my husband if he forced us to be fans. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. on top of that the salsa was pace picante sauce. the food was mediocre. But we were hungry as we had been traveling all day. We ate and then my husband tried to pay which then the waitress refused to take our payment because of the jersey he was wearing. A different waitress cashed us out finally and on our way out the door our waitress said she hope our team losses and stuck her tongue out at us. I'm disgusting by this behavior and will never...

Went to Drive thru and I should have known better when I spoke Spanish to the young lady that was working and she answered me in English. We ordered a chicken guacamole burrito, chicken nachos and flautas combo. I drove 5 minutes to the Quality Inn where I was staying and when I opened the nachos, the beans and chicken were dry, the cheese had the microwave melt thing going on. The burrito was smothered in some kind of nasty cheese (and I think) sour cream sauce, with a side of sad and I mean sad salad. The flautas were decent but the accompanying beans had dried up also. The rice was so- so. The chicken in my burrito tasted like and had the same consistency as the chicken you get in a can at Costco or BJs. About the only decent thing was the guacamole which I doubt very much was fresh homemade. Overall I was very disappointed with this place. Seemed like none of the food was authentic Mexican which is what I was craving, and I understand that with the pandemic being what it is, quality goes down a little, but this food left a lot to...

This is a sister restaurant to La Hacienda in Ruidoso, NM which is a decent Mexican food restaurant. I ordered the Flauta Plate and it was satisfying. The flautas were crunchy and had enough meat, the beans were alright, didn’t really like the Mexican rice. My daughter really enjoyed their Caldo de Res. She said it had good flavor and had a good ratio of meat and veggies. My youngest had the Enchilada Kid plate and it was nice that she was able to customize it to her liking, so she went with a green chicken enchilada which she finished. The tamales weren’t my favorite. I have no idea why they had cheese on top. I probably wouldn’t order them again. They offer agave margaritas in different flavors, they are made from ready mix and not fresh ingredients but they are enjoyable if you aren’t that picky. The inside of the restaurant could be updated, not much of an atmosphere. Prices ran around $10 a plate. I haven’t seen many Mexican restaurants in Alamogordo so if you are in the mood for Mexican food check this place out!

I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The menu offered a variety of options but the food I ordered turned out to be lacking in flavor. Specifically, the red chile on my juevos rancheros was advertised as spicy, but it failed to deliver any heat or flavor. Additionally, the sausage patties and hash browns tasted as if they were store-bought (previously frozen) and lacked any taste. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. On a positive note, the coffee served at was satisfying. It had a good flavor and was the highlight of my visit, also the waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall, my dining experience was disappointing. I hope the restaurant management takes these concerns into consideration and works towards improving the quality of their food and maintaining a higher standard.

We hadn't been here in years and its gone downhill in since then. The waitress was very attentive and good at her job. She was alone the whole time and didn't miss a beat. But the food however was no bueno. At least what we got. The salsa at the start was like tomato water, no flavor with horribly chopped jalapeno and barely any tomato and onion. The chips were ok but kinda greasy. I ordered the Barbacoa burrito. The meat was tender but extremely greasy with little flavor. So sad because this place used to be very good. The exterior looked redone and they added windows which I dont think really adds to the space. Oh well. Guess it's just watered down Mexican food now. Too bad.
