Review of Bank of America - University Branch, Fairbanks, AK
I recently had the privilege of visiting the Bank of America branch located at 794 University Ave, Fairbanks, AK, and I must say that my experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warmth and kindness that is rarely found in the banking world.
I want to highlight the service I received from Jami Spears and Tim. They made me feel as if I had known them for years, even though I am from Orlando, Florida, and this was my first visit to Alaska. I currently do not have an account with Wells Fargo, but my experience at this branch made me reflect on the quality of customer service that can be found in the banking sector.
I needed to make a transaction from a bank outside the United States, and Jami ensured that the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Their attention to detail and willingness to help me were impressive. I truly felt valued as a customer, which is fundamental in any service.
It is evident that Wells Fargo has a treasure in Jami and Tim. They have a great positive energy. I hope management recognizes their dedication and provides them with opportunities to continue growing as leaders within the company. The customer service culture they represent is what truly makes a difference, and I am sure they will continue to create a positive impact on the customer experience.
In summary, my visit to this Bank of America branch was outstanding. It was not just about completing a transaction, but about feeling well taken care of and valued. I highly recommend this branch to anyone seeking exceptional service in Fairbanks. Thank you, Jami and Tim, for making my visit a...
Read moreI have been to multiple Wells Fargo branches all throughout the United States and this by far the WORST branch I have personally experienced. The general tellers are just okay, but I'm not sure if she's the supervisor or the branch manager but she is simply AWFUL! Very rude woman who acts as if preforming customer service is an inconvenience to her day and I've been unfortunate enough to deal with her multiple times. Also, I am very well aware there is a mobile app (been banking with WF for 10 years), but when I try to do something on said app and it tells me to go into my local branch for assistance, well I'm going to do just that. That does not mean that I should be subjected to rude employees who cannot handle multi tasking. Also, I know about the mobile app! If your employees solution for all of my issues are to go to the mobile app (even when the app refers me to my local branch) then what is the purpose of employing 5+ employees who's jobs are so "easily" replaced with an app? To sum this review up terrible branch, terrible customer service, and avoid this place if at...
Read moreMy wife had an appointment scheduled for 9am. We got there well before 9am and they did not let us in early to where we could have been handled or notified that our banker was called to work at another branch. We were told to sit and someone would be with us shortly (which was already going into our time), and no one explained that we would not be meeting at 9am and would have to wait til the other 9am appointments were done. There were two bankers, two tellers, and a branch manager that all just let us sit there for 20 minutes. I work in an office with a small staff, and I had taken off work to bring my wife there. I had to go up and ask what was going on, to then be told by a teller, not the branch manager about the total lack of service and that our time was wasted, and then had to go to work late and try to catch up all day.
National banks are already one of the problems of this country, made worse by a failure of a branch manager (the lack of customer service by anyone this morning is a reflection on you, especially since you couldn’t get up to come apologize to...
