Tienda La Chaparrita — Attraction in Albany

Some of their prices are great & some are very pricey. The problem I had was the employees seemed rude. The man who was the cashier seemed outright rude like he didn't care about our returning but only on getting our money. Maybe he was having a bad day but another employee was talking to him while they both acted like we were not there. We ran into another employee there while shopping who did not greet us either. I will not shop there again! I was made to feel that they didn't care about my doing business with their store at all. This was by far the best Mexican supermarket I've ever been in. Although small, it was crammed from floor to ceiling with product. The most impressive thing of all was the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables of a quality you won't find in a big box supermarket. Although the fruit and vegetables were a bit more expensive than other places, it was well worth the price due to the freshness and quality of it all.
