Kadampa Meditation Center New Mexico — Attraction in Albuquerque

Phenomenal meditation center. The people who run Kadampa Meditation Center New Mexico are so lovely, friendly and genuinly using meditation to change their own lives and help others. I attended the Southwest Dharma Celebration this weekend and the meditation guidance and practical advice for living a happy life were unbelievably helpful. The main teacher is so friendly and approachable, and the community welcoming and respectful. The building itself is a very beautiful place with modern Buddhist paintings and exquisite guilded statues as the central focus inside the meditation room. The tea room is very comfortable and the bookstore carries a complete offering of masterful Buddhist texts, statues, images and other meditation and Buddhist related items. I attend another Kadampa meditation center in Denver CO, this is the second time I have visited Kadampa Meditation Center in Albuquerque and I will definitely be back at a future meditation event.
