NV Nails & Spa — Attraction in Albuquerque

Unfortunately, this place is quantity over quality. I usually go to a different salon but they are closed on Sundays. So I stopped in NV nails. I came in for a pedicure. I’m very insecure about my big toe because gotten pulled off by doctors and kicked off by a child so it grows funny so I always have acrylic over it to make it look like my other big toe. They had somebody else do the acrylic on my toe and I told her I’d like it to match the other one big toe (who wouldn’t!) and she said that they can file it down. She continued to do it very long and thick. I’ve had acrylic on this particular big toe for years and anytime they do it that way they hurt my skin because they have to file it down for so long instead of just doing it correctly the first time! I have to pay extra to get acrylic on this toe, so id expect it to be shaped and close to my other toe. Well it’s not shaped nor does it match my other big toe!! I got a deep red painted on my toes. The lady got red paint all over my skin. Just hands-down a disaster. I’m a really good tipper and I didn’t want to tip anything but I find that disrespectful since they did the service so I gave her five dollars. I wear sandals a lot during the summer hints the tan lines. Here are some pictures. It’s crooked, thick, and the nail polish even looks darker on just that big toe! All around very ugly to look at. I will not recommend this place, nor will I ever go back. I’m really embarrassed to post pictures, but my toes just looks absolutely terrible. When you’re paying for something they should listen to you. But unfortunately, they just did it their way. Oh and this all took 30 minutes they were just trying to pump people through. I went here to get me my mom and my brothers gf and it was by far the WORST PLACE EVER! I got a full set of acrylic nails and so did my brothers gf. my mom got gel. first off with mine I asked for square and they were but they were extremely crooked and uneven, some of the nails don't even match, I had a reference picture for her and she basically just did what she wanted, she didn't make the flowers whatsoever, have a word, and I asked for gems, and she just absolutely refused. She was so so rude and was so aggressive and she cut me twice along with my brother's girlfriend, and when we comforted her about it, she was extremely rude and denied. We paid over 200 dollars for this. When we arrived there, the woman that did my nails was doing a white woman's nails, and she had no mask on, but when she called me over, she put her mask on ( I'm Hispanic) but when she was done with me, she took it off and the next customer was obviously another white woman. Not only was the service horrible but before we left the lady, who we paid accused me, and my mom of walking out without pain win, she watched as pay the 200 dollars. Overall, horrible, horrible experience, it was dirty. They messed up all of our nails and they refused a refund or any sort of help...

We stopped by here yesterday because the salon we normally went to had an emergency and I should have just waited, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon and I have been getting my nails done for years. The lady that did my nails was so rough that my cuticles are still practically bleeding a day later. When I showed her the design I wanted she made a funny face and gave a suggest to change it which was fine. However as she was doing my nails she started doing her own design with dip which I didn't ask for. She changed it up completely from what I showed her. While she was doing my nails every time I had to extend my hand to give it to her she pulled it like I wasn't moving fast enough for her. The nails themselves looked fine, minus the fact that my nails hurt more than ever before. After I was done and left, the lady did not know the client sitting next to her was my friend.
