I had a consultation with Dr. Eric Tuggle in December 2021. I discussed with him my moderate facial insecurities, at which point he suggested several procedures. From the multiple procedures recommended, I opted for a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and a chin augmentation. But I was concerned about scaring, especially on such a delicate and noticeable area such as the eyelids. He explained that his surgical expertise was strictly facial and that I would ultimately end up with a discrete line which would be concealed along the crease of the eyes. With that explanation my concerns were eased and I went trough with the surgeries. Upon the first time I saw my face after the procedures I instantly felt profound regret and disappointment. My eyelids had been sewn very sloppily, (I had skin gathering or bunching in between each stitch) I knew I would be left with significant scaring. (I don’t wear eyeshadow anymore because it highlights the bumpiness of my scars) Additionally, the placement of the chin implant was unflattering and uncomfortable. It made me look like I was always frowning and it caused me to bite my bottom lip. Not to mention the scar was also very harsh and unsightly. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the people at Sandia Oral surgery skin and face. Dr. Eric Tuggle and his wife Tonya are both nice kind people. I’ve had Botox with Tonya and was very happy with my results. Recently I had a procedure with Dr.Tuggle and actually got very sick after the anesthesia which was really unpleasant, however Dr. Tuggle took every call even in the middle of the night, and never lost patience with me.
