I will never EVER shop at Staples again. They have the worst customer service and don't even know what they are doing. I bought a laptop there last year, I specifically asked for a touch screen and had to return my computer TWICE before getting what I wanted. When I got what I asked for on the third attempt they sold me a floor model computer. I was never given the start up disks for it. Now a year later it is having problems. I took it back to them since it is under warranty and was told I'd have to pay $150 to get it reset. After being told it would only take 3 days went in a week later and they hadn't even started working on it!!!! I am taking an online class so you can imagine the inconvenience of having to go to work or find friends who could lend me some time on their computer! They called me a few days later to tell me it was ready, so I went in to pick it up and it was still doing the same thing it was when I took it in. Not only that but the lady who is there most the time recognized me and knew I was upset so rather than deal with me she ran to the back making me wait did not greet me at all and waited for another associate to come help me. So now I am going to have to send it to the warranty company but the warranty company wants those start up disks I never received. When I called staples to inform them of this they were not helpful at all and made me call the warranty company which took an hour for them to call me back. Luckily I received the call since I work at a very busy office and am not always able to answer my phone!! I only rated one star because google makes me. Read morePlaced an EXPRESS print order for postcards and the cost was quite a bit extra but needed them for the next morning before they opened. The order was to be done by 4:30 that day…. However, it was not ready until 10:30 the following day. It put me in a huge panic that night and was very upset because i wouldn’t have them for what they were needed for. The most upsetting part was that there was no communication, if they contacted me to let me know they wouldn’t be ready I could’ve gone somewhere else. When I cancelled the order and explained the reason, they simply did not care nor apologize, Instead they asked me if they should save the postcards, if I would need them for in the future. I stated I could use them another time but but requested a discount and definitely shouldn’t pay the express fee. I was then told that they will just discard them. WOW! They should’ve offered them to me for free or at the very least discounted and not charge me the express fee since they were not expressed but nope, they preferred to throw them away! I’ll add that this was the second time this happened but the last time I walked in right before they closed and wouldn’t leave until they were printed. There won’t be a next time, lost customer. With such poor customer service I wouldn’t be surprised if they soon go out...

The first occasion, towards the end of September, led me to Michael who courteously provided practical insights on a good choice for resume printing paper and some great feedback on contents for a career portfolio cover page.
Sarah was the one who was there to print the finalized documents a couple days later. Her professionalism, patience and courtesy is highly commendable. She made sure to print a couple of test pages for my review before printing an entire order. This helped locate a text alignment error on a List of References, which she found and quickly fixed. Her suggestion to laminate the portfolio cover page for attachment to a binder was creative and practical. I will certainly go back to this store for any print jobs.
