Since moving to Albuquerque I have only tried 4 sushi places including Sushi Roller. I just cant get enough of this place, so dont let the fact that its in a mall food court deter you. Its always fresh and you can see the care they put into the nigiri and rolls. My absolute two favorite rolls are the Cottonwood Roll and the Salmon skin roll. They are full of flavor, and the Salmon skin roll looks as if it is a work of art. As for the nigiri, the Salmon and Yellowtail are fantastic. They give you a regular and spicy option for the nigiri and i recommend both. They have some hot food items I have yet to try, thats just because the sushi is to good to pass up. My last visit here was a week ago, and I cant wait...

We were recently driving through Albuequerque on a road trip and felt like having sushi for dinner. We decided on Sushi Roller based on the great reviews and we were not disappointed! Yes, heads up, Sushi Roller is simply a stall in the food court of the Cottonwood Mall. So there is no ambiance if you are dining in. But, rest assured, the food more than makes up for it. Our meal was as good, if not better, than many of the sushi restaurants we have tried. We ordered the Miso soup, Seaweed Salad, Salmon Sashimi, Spicy Salmon Roll and the Red Dragon Roll. The portions were generous and each entree was delicious! If the venue turns you off, keep in mind that they have takeout as well....

Let’s sushi roller it out! Out of all my sushi excursions, this place beats the five mile radius of sushi restaurants. Price- comparable to all the other places Value- bigger rolls, more pieces Presentation- tighter rolls. They don’t fall apart when your stick touches it Taste- has flavor: burst in your mouth flavor Shrimp- anyone ever get a short shrimp tempura roll and wonder where have all the shrimp gone (Paula?)? I don’t need a roll to remind me about my ex.

You got to go in where Old Navy is. That’s the fastest way to get to this gem. They don’t charge you one dollar for an extra side...

Every time I order sushi here I am pleasantly surprised because I always forget that it's delicious until I try it again. The stigma attached to mall food often causes people to be hesitant but honestly, this hole-in-the-wall sushi restaurant deserves all the stars. The rice is perfectly cooked, the fish is fresh, and the owners are just very kind. I've shared a picture of their green dragon, philadelphia, and salmon rolls below. I gobbled up all of the Godzilla roll so quickly I forgot to snap a shot. The point is, don't hesitate. It's fantastic food and extremely reasonably priced for the quality. Enjoy!

I literally said "Wow!" when I opened up my boxes. I only ordered two rolls and gyoza so I was surprised to get 3 heavy takeout containers. Each roll is massive; I can usually eat two rolls for lunch but after 4 pieces I was so full. The sushi was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! You can tell there is a lot of care and attention put into each piece. Pictures are the Spicy Citrus Roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll. The gyoza was crispy and light and so good as well. Absolutely wonderful place, and a very friendly couple cooking everything! Absolutely check them out when you're in this mall.
