The Amish Connection — Attraction in Albuquerque

I can't say enough good things about the Amish Connection. I don't want to buy furniture from anyone else in Albuquerque. My husband and I bought a bed and a dining room table and chairs from them when we married and blended a large family 5 years ago. The dining room table has stood up to 7 family members and many guests and just gets better with age.

This time around my husband and I ordered a sofa, a media center, two gliders, a coffee table and 3 side tables at the beginning of February. Hannah helped us from mid October when we first stopped by looking all the way through until I finally got over the angst of spending money on something other than college tuition! She was very helpful with furniture design, placement, fabric selection and coordinating with existing furniture. Little did we know coronavirus was on the way. Despite a pandemic, the staff kept us informed and our furniture arrived just about 6 weeks after originally promised. Pretty incredible considering how much stopped nationwide. Quarantining in such a beautiful and cozy living room isn't such a bad way to go.

I was very impressed by the service provided in the store, and by the quality of the finished product I recently received. Sales consultant Hannah was extremely helpful in finding a bedside shelf unit that would match to my unusual height requirement, and with satisfactory width and length. She provided a couple of samples of wood type and finish to help me decide on an optimal match to an existing bed (and wall). And she had a nice, friendly demeanor throughout the purchase and delivery processes that was clearly oriented toward maximal customer service and well as developing a positive customer relationship. The finished product was beautiful, clearly solidly made, with a substantial feel as well as the hoped-for good match to existing circumstances in the bedroom. The only feature of the entire purchase experience that was not positive was the 16-week delivery time. It's certainly understandable in view of the careful custom fabrication evident in the final product, but a bit long for the pile of cardboard boxes I was using as a temporary substitute. I was nervous about spending so much money on a few pieces of furniture but I couldn't be happier with the service and prices! I ordered a bedroom set and a dining set, however, I had to make a lot of customizations to both to suit my needs/tastes. My sales agent, Hannah, at the Juan Tabo store in Albuquerque, could NOT have been better! She was so knowledgeable about the furniture and craftsmen who would make the pieces for us. She happily walked me through all the customizing I wanted to do, which was a lot. She rapidly responded to emails I sent regarding delivery times and charges. I never felt abandoned once the order was made. Our delivery was made on time and the two delivery/set-up guys were also awesome! Brennan and Justin were professional, polite and took great care and time in getting everything set up and assembled correctly. I have NEVER had such an enjoyable experience in buying anything EVER!
