I love everything about this gym, except for one worker. This individual is completely unprofessional, one incident I'm referring to, really changed my view on the customer service presented, normally at this establishment. I signed up for a hydromassage and I had an 8 min wait, my Child had called me from Arkansas and I stepped out knowing I had a wait and would be back (willing to rejoin the waiting list, if I lost my place). I return 9 mins and 45 seconds later (the time of my call). He then lecture me about staying in the lobby when in line. I explain I'm willing to get back on the wait list and apologize. I walk into the hydromassage room and there is No One. I'm furious, because I watch this individual exchange pleasantries with other gym members, but he is always interacting with me and my guest, in this frequency. I'm perplexed and determined so I can't enjoy my massage 2 min into it I walk back to the front. I assure him that I'm not sure what his differences are with me or if my appearance is deceitful to my true nature. But I am a business student and I know that this is not professional behavior, and I demanded to be treated the same way as everyone who pay for services is treated. That means if I want to step out, for a call, and then get back in line for services, I pay for, then I will. I then ended with "I still have my human rights, and my membership doesn't govern me. People always assume, they know who has self values, and intelligence but to take that mentality to work Shame on him. Heavy set Brown hair about 5'6, and I'm an Introvert, so I don't know his name. But his behavior makes me uneasy, and without interaction for him to harbor and act our on a distaste of individuals is Unprofessional. I just want to exercise, I'm not responsible for your worker, psychological well being or need to apply unnecessary authority into stranger lives. I wouldn't have even fed into it but it was becoming a habit and the room was Empty, there was no line. I wasn't hurting anything or anyone, just this person psychological war tatics. I walked into my gym to unwind, not knowing, I should have worn my battle amour, instead of yoga pants....

Read moreThis place is decent, I mean who doesn't like to shop at Nordstrom before checking out the real deal at Dillards. Also, Garduños. Give the seafood enchiladas a fling. Orale, amigos! The thing is, I really miss the old Winrock. You know the one I mean, with the food court in the middle, under the pyramid—featuring Barney's Beef and Things on the first floor and Johnny Rockets and Fools Paradise on the second floor—and World of Knives and Borders on each far end. One could spend hours wandering from end to end just to see two versions of the aforementioned and still present Dillards. The even older version of Winrock was way cooler. It was sorta outdoors. I met Santa there in about 1971 when the big stores were Montgomery Wards and JC Penny. There was a Walgreens with a soda fountain and lunch counter and some really hep restaurants there, like Diamond Jim's and Japanese Steak Kitchen. And Toys By Roy. My twin brother and I bought our magic tricks there. In 1976, our mom wouldn't let us go into the game room next to some import store because she said it smelled of marijuana. There was a little post office in the parking lot. For a while there was a DMV branch on the second floor, too. Now all of that is gone, but they left...
