Read moreA very good park to go to on the weekends. The soccer field is very nice and well maintained, and it is the home field of alexandria soccer team. They replaced the turf with wood chips though. Picnics can be held mostly anywhere throughout this park because there is a ton of open space, just be ware of goose waste. There is a beautiful grey pond in the park, with turtles, fish and geese. They always seem to rest on those wood frames near the fountain. Playground are also available, with swings and a jungle gym. There is only one bathroom, and it’s located near the field. Further from the park, there are volleyball courts and a dog walking park that dogs can freely roam about. Read moreI started walking my dog three years ago at this park and it was cleaner and somewhat quieter, today (2023), it’s sad to see the pond so dirty with human trash from careless people who have parties out picnics and either don’t throw their trash properly or just don’t care, too many fast drivers in an area that should be slower, and too many drivers with very loud music that’s just annoying. And still it’s a sanctuary for geese, just watch out for goose poop and some careless dog owners who don’t pick up...
