ALDI — Local services in Alexandria

Was excited up until the "grand" opening. Came just an hour before the grand opening with just 30 total people in front of the doors to find out that all of the 100 "golden" tickets have been given away, even though Aldi had sent out brochures that had the wording "First 100 customers" would get a golden ticket. That means you didn't have to be an actual FIRST customer, you could just show up and walk away BEFORE the store officially opened, and then come back anytime. That is apparently false advertising. I walked away and not coming back, and no thanks I'm not taking your freebie junk dunkin donuts you were offering. I previously trusted Aldi brand only to an extent of some German chocolate bars, but nothing else much, as it was cheap and quite low quality. Was excited about the "organic" stuff they were supposedly introducing. Now I am not going to believe a word of their advertising. I am a loyal customer to this Aldi location, and for good reason! Parking is always a breeze, which is a major plus. The selection of products is consistently on par with or even better than other Aldi locations I have visited. But what truly sets this store apart is the friendly staff. They're always welcoming and helpful, making my shopping experience a pleasure.

Another aspect that impresses me is the store's cleanliness. Unlike some other Aldi locations I have gone to and shopped at, this one is always tidy and well-maintained, with no cluttered aisles or overflowing boxes. It's clear the staff takes pride in their work.

Customer service sucks. I can't believe this, a new Aldi's storage, finished construction like 5 months ago and the employees have a very rude manner with customer like they don't care about customer service. When I was in line to pay, the cashier with name Brandon was very rude with the customer who was trying to pay with Aldi gift card and some were wrong with the card. Then when I was paying the same cashier dropped my stuffs so rude in my shoping carr, I tried to put another empty shopping carr to help him to continue dropped my other stuff but him in a very rude manner to me denied that action holding my full shopping carr very strong like he is the owner and he paid for that.
