Bigger than i expected!!! My fiance and i have been meaning to check out the farmers market for over a year now, as it is within walking distance of our home. We finally had the opportunity this sunday and it did not disappoint. Its not one of those frilly farmers markets with all the bells and whistles to attract tourists. Rather this is the real deal, with a variety of local produce from mostly CA farmers. In fact, I didnt notice any from outside the state, farthest north i saw was a fresno farm vendor. I miss the roasted corn and sweet potato vendor that used to be here. They sold some pretty refreshing agua fresca that were best for those hot summer days.

Read more.This is my favorite Farmer's Market because of the abundance of delicious "certfied organic" and vegetables grown using organic methods, i.e., integrated pest management. Right now--February- there are tons of brocoli, cabbage, cartots, coliflower, lettuce, as well as oranges, and many oriental vegetables, all wonderfully fresh.
