Peace, Str33t Records hosted an open mic over the weekend, and it was such a wonderful experience. very welcoming and the small room between performer and audience makes the atmosphere feel intimate. its a great space for poetry, a great space for singing, and its a great space to make mistakes because even during some mishaps, the people are still encouraging and cheer the performer on. for any up and coming performing artists that wanna practice their live material, i believe this is a good place to go to in order to get they feet wet into the art of expression. Str33t Records really welcomes any genre, from Punk to Hip Hop, and anything Experimental inbetween. plus they have a killer selection of records to choose from for all y'all crate diggers out there. the room is small, but the vibe is big, and at this venue, its probably one of the best shows that i have performed in thus far haha . i think they said that the open mics are seasonal, so make sure y'all follow them to really...

On paper, this spot is a vinyl and CD shop that sells and buys records. In a much larger sense, it’s a great hub to better appreciate music and media, and a reminder why we value them in the first place. Also helps that the selection is dope, and good music’s always playing.

Yo! I had my first visit to Str33t Records as well as having an opportunity to perform at the open mic. It was all good vibes with so many people coming within the community to perform and shop.
