Completely unprofessional. Sold my already bought items to somebody else.
I bought vintage items off their eBay account âProjectCCGâ. A short while later I get a reply saying my already-bought-items have been sold to somebody else (in the US).
I assume he/she meant is -the items were sold to somebody else at a higher price even though it was already sold to me. #SorryNotSorry
I made a IG post about this and tagged them (@ ProjectCCG), and they proceeded to block me. Says a lot doesnât it?
The items were expensive. So the decision likely comes from the owner.
Truth be told I did not expect a business owner to pull this stunt. Especially when the business is so community oriented. But I guess that just goes to show the owner cares nothing about professionalism, business ethics or taking care of the community. The owner is in it just for a profit.
So if you like being taken advantage of in a card shop and getting bad deals, this is the place to go. Next time booster box prices spike and you donât get your preorder boxes...donât be too shocked to see them sold at spiked retail prices on the shelves several weeks later, or on eBay.
TL;DR Bought expensive vintage items from this shop on eBay. The owner (of the eBay account) then turned around and sold it to somebody else. Unprofessional.
Changing my original 1 star review to 3 stars.
After leaving poor feedback on here, IG and FB, the owner reached out to me and wanted to right a wrong. It was reactive but at least he did the right thing. He eventually sourced the same packs I initially bought on eBay and sold it to me at...
Read moreI stopped by Project CCG today to check out some PokĂ©mon and One Piece cards. Everyone here was super helpful and knowledgeable, which made browsing a lot easier. The shop itself is clean, quiet, and feels different from most traditional card shops. That said, if I hadnât approached one of the staff members, he probably wouldnât have acknowledged me or said hi, which took away a bit from the welcoming vibe and that turned me off completely.
The prices are a bit marked up. For example, I paid $14.00 for a PokĂ©mon Mew 151 (English Version) Pack, which normally runs closer to $10.00 on average. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if youâre hunting packs.
Pro Tip: The parking here really sucks, and itâs a little tricky to figure out the entrance. It took me about five minutes, and just a heads up â There isnât a back door to enter either.
One thing that could make the experience even better would be some background music or a TV playing Pokémon or related shows to give the space a more lively vibe.
Overall, though, the people are friendly, the shop is tidy, and itâs a solid spot if youâre into trading cards and donât mind paying a little extra for convenience. I on the other hand donât see myself...
Read moreOne of the best stores in the greater area. Singles are always stocked and while sealed products arent always available they definitely have alternatives. Singles are priced fairly and they do buy alot of singles. Very busy store when they have tourneys. Every time ive been here its been a 5 star experience. Even asked for recommendation for a different store that may help me and they did without laughing at me which happened at about 80% of the stores I visited. They've definitely grown as i remember when they were a smaller store and the wall of mats which I regret not getting one when I had a chance. Lots of room to play and a wall of bulk available to look through if youre interested in that. Lots of complimentary card products such as sleeves, deck boxes, mats, binders. They also do psa grading which ive never tried but seen lots of great reviews on it. Parking is a bit hard to find as its usually packed especially in the back with multiple people searching and sometimes it's just luck. Various other stores in the area as it is a downtown area. Little bit of a drive for me but its worth it every time and will continue to visit and hopefully start playing...
