Pro Shop: Everyone here is really friendly and eager to help. Julius aka Doc is really great. I've yet to run across any one with a bad attitude after coming here for 3 years. They know how to manage the course and will let you start off the back when it's busy up front. Local Alhambra residents can get a resident card for an annual fee and receive discounts. They have a good selection of golf accessories/apparel and a small selection of golf clubs/shoes. I've never had a problem walking on here at any time of day.
Driving Range: They have a 3 tier driving range. Every other practice mat is new. The older mats are roughed up but are still usable. If you ever bought used golf balls. I would say that the balls on the range are 40% AAAAA, 40% AAAA, and 20%AA. I usually use the older marred balls to warm up and the newer balls when I'm compressing the ball well. It's open to midnight during the summer and 11pm during the off season. The driving range draws a younger crowd late night after 930pm. It can be kind of noisy. They split the range at each tier about 1/3 on the far side for smokers and bottom level is smoke free. The far side net is about 225 yards out.
Snack shop: It's a regular snack shop. There's nothing really that pops about it. The food is good. Service is good. In the afternoon, the snack shop bar is cash only.
Course: Man, I don't know if the course superintendent is new, but for the past year or so, he's freaking making it awesome. They are really staying on point roping off ground under repair areas. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens are really nice right now. I think this course is really under rated. It's one of my favorite courses. It's not terribly long. There's not a lot of forced carries. But I usually have a good amount fun here working on my game. Greens roll a bit on the slow side.
Practice areas: They have 2 putting areas and 2 chipping areas, 1 with a bunker.

Read moreSuch a beautiful course! We visited for the PGA Jr Allstars match and I was so pleasantly surprised by the course’s beauty! The staff was friendly and fast, and they had carts available for spectators. The ponds with the geese were a little noisy, but nothing unnatural! They had blockades up for some of the tees, which I’ve never seen before. The greens were maintained beautifully and the grass everywhere else was green and soft. It looked like a park, I wanted to hang out at every hole! The driving range was multi-tiered which left room for plenty of people to hit balls. The only thing negative I have to say, is on the last hole is the end of the range and there was a ton of range balls that either went over the net or through it and I was terrified of getting hit by a ball. Other than that, it was such a beautiful course and I hope we get a chance to go play for fun some day or be back again for...
Read moreThis facility is good. But employees and policy are so so terrible. My daughter is scga jr member. At first time, So We call them before I book tee time. A lady answered we can go any time for $1. So we booked 1:30, when we go there to check in, front desk said there is promotions $1 after 2 pm. And spectator drive car fee $13, if player sit on car, will charge $12. Total $25. This does not make sense. Is 6 years old girl able to drive a car by her own? Second time, we went there, they don’t have cars, so they don’t charge for spectator fee with walking . Only charge $1. Third time today, they charge spectator fee $15, no matter if spectator walking or drive a car. different receptionists charge differently. We have been going different golf courses, never see like this. Charge whatever they want to charge. Hope business owner will see this. This terrible experience...
