My cousins and I did a double date. We wanted to do something fun during the day, so we decided to do karaoke.
Parking: Good luck finding a spot lol. This spot is located in downtown. You can get lucky with free street parking. After driving around, we parked in a parking lot behind Patisserie. Make sure you read the warning signs.
Ambiance/Environment: It doesn't look like much outside, but they have a large space inside! There's plenty of seating for those who want to study and simply hangout. They have all their fun activities and games on the back right side. I will say they do need to update their furniture bc majority of them are ripped, old, and warned out.
Service: Jade was the cashier that assisted us. She went over the menu with us bc it was a bit all over the place. She gave us really good recommendations. Throughput didn't take long at all. Our karaoke room was actually ready for us right after ordering, and our food & drinks quickly came afterwards.
Drinks, foods, & activities:
Karaoke - We went with the Galaxy room. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. The tablet was really easy to navigate through. We were able to find all the songs we wanted. There were 2 mics in the room. We noticed one mic was a bit louder than the other, but both worked.
Medium Snack Sampler - This came with choices of 3 meats and 3 fries. We got the gyoza, popcorn chicken, and chicken wings as our meats. We also got the elote fries, Cajun fries, and BBQ fries. Our favorites were the popcorn chicken and BBQ fries! The seasoning and flavors hit! The chicken wings and gyozas tasted as expected; make sure to dip for more flavor! My absolute favorite were the elote fries! The Cajun fries were very light, so we thought it could use a bit more seasoning.
Milk Tea Tower - This 88 oz tower was a must! We had the option of choosing one milk or fruit tea. We decided to go with the Nom Nom Green Milk Tea with honey boba and lychee jelly as our toppings. This tasted absolutely delicious! They gave us a generous amount of toppings!
Ping Pong - After singing our hearts out, we wanted to play a friendly competition. The choices were between pole or ping pong, and we decided to go with ping pong. We were given 4 paddles and 1 ball.
Pricing: Prices were worth it $$. We left satisfied and fulfilled! The food was good and the...
Read moreBeen coming here since 2014 and loved the vibes and the food is amazing. One of my favorites is the ftb toast that comes with 4 scoops of icecream. After covid closed dine in i waited patiently for them to open back up so i can get the toast again. After waiting for so long they finially opened dine in and i came back. My friend had ordered it. The cashier guy with long curly/frizzy hair at the register oozed vibes of someone who just started so when i read the receipt it said only toast with condensed milk($3something). Confused i asked him to go double comfirm that its the ftb special toast($7.95).( Ah he also messed up our drink order. I ordered peach green tea with rainbow jelly and he put mango jelly instead.) He goes and comes back saying the cashier told him he has to order the icecream separately which.... makes no sense cuz the ftb toast COMES with icecream and whatnot. Alas he orders 3 icecreams and we wait for the toast to come out. It comes out alone in a box with condensed milk and thats it. I go back and ask if the ftb toast no longer exists or what cuz im hella confused by the order. They say that he only ordered the toast by itself. My friends story is that he was never asked if it was just the toast but if he wanted condensed milk or caramel not , nothing about the toast. The cashier's story was he only asked if he wanted just the toast or...? Clearly he definitely shouldve been supervised during his training. Im assumimg the manager came in and apologized for the misunderstanding and made us a "new" toast the correct one. They just ended up giving us back the toast and threw the icecreams in a cup and called it a day. :/ i waited so long for the ftb toast and this was how i received it....
Read moreI come to Factory Tea Bar regularly, usually one to three times a week, but my experience today at the Where the Wind Blooms event was very disappointing because of how rude the event staff were. One of the girls working near the entrance, a shorter staff member, had a terrible attitude and was extremely unprofessional. There were no signs anywhere in the parking lot or entrance indicating that a wristband was required just to walk in and order. As my partner and I walked inside, this staff member literally chased us in yelling “You cannot come in here without a wristband, don’t come in here without one.” The way she said it was aggressive and unnecessary, and definitely not how customers should be treated. It honestly made me want to leave right then. We stepped outside to figure things out and waited at a booth near the entrance. Before we could even ask a question, another staff member cut us off with “You need a wristband.” Again, there was no explanation until we had to specifically ask where to get one. The only friendly person we encountered was the girl actually handing out the wristbands, who was polite and helpful. After all of this, we ordered our drinks and left in less than ten minutes. The drinks were fine, but the event employees ruined the experience before it even began. I understand that the event staff might not be directly employed by Factory Tea Bar, but if you are going to host pop-up events, please be mindful of who is hired to represent your business. Staff should learn how to communicate respectfully instead of yelling at customers. I genuinely enjoy Factory Tea Bar, but this experience left a very...
