Little Acorn Montessori Academy — Attraction in Alhambra

My wife and I have been looking for the best daycare for our daughter for a long time. We have done a lot of research and finally decided the Little Acorn Montessori Academy, since Little Acorn provides education by following the Montessori philosophy, which is what we have been looking for. Also, we are satisfied with their teacher-student ratio. And more.

My wife and I are very satisfied with this school. My daughter likes going to school, and she was very happy every day. She made lots of friends here that she almost talks about them all the time after school. In just a few months, her English has improved a lot. She has learned songs and brought crafts and drawings home every day.

Unfortunately, we decided to leave, since we moved to another city far way from the school. This is a big challenge for my daughter because she is missing her friends (her classmates and teachers) very much. We are expecting to take her back to the Little Acorn someday after the pandemic to say hi to them.

So thankful for Little Acorn Montessori Academy!

My child attended for a year and a large portion of that time was during the pandemic. We can't thank this staff enough for keeping the children safe during those uncertain months. We are frontline workers like many of the parents there and this schooled helped us by keeping the doors open while we were forced to work. The school did close for several weeks but then was able to open back up in May with COVID precautions in place.

Overall, this is an excellent school for kids. The teachers are so nice and know what's going on with each child. We watched our child grow and develop so much during their time here. I was most impressed with the fact that my child started to learn Spanish and Mandarin from his teachers. The school lunch is such a benefit and helps to take some of the load off of parents. I suggest paying for it. The kids love their outside time and the large play areas give them plenty of space to roam around. Little Acorn Montessori Academy was a blessing for our little family. Their kind, committed professionals helped our daughter become the confident young lady she is from ages 1-5! She is in her final week before transitioning to a “big girl” school for the fall, and as parents we feel very prepared to send her on to the next step of her journey, with much thanks to the staff and curriculum at Little Acorn. The weekly changing focus kept her interested and excited to get to school each day, and as parents we certainly noticed how the core of the program has helped her socially and at home. She just loves completing tasks! And genuinely helpful ones at that.
