Started ordering takeout on a weekly basis as soon as they reopened during the pandemic. It was worth the 30 min drive each way given how fresh the fish is. However, we have had 3 not so great experiences in a row, now that they are serving in restaurant. The worst was this past weekend - made a reservation for 2 people at 6pm. Requested sushi bar (they have 8-10 seats), but were told it wasn’t available. We arrived at 6 and the sushi bar was empty, so we asked again and were told it was all reserved. 2- Food tasting is very subjective but you know when you eat a good bite.

The warm Sushi Rice makes all the difference in the world.

I ate sashimi lunch, which was $22, excluding tax. Miso soup which was served first immediately moved me. The rice was excellent, which is equivalent to top quality one that I ate in Japan. There were about 12 pieces of sashimi, which were superb.
The clerks were very generous and friendly.
Overall, it's 100 out of 5 lol
