Amazing gym! I go to another gym on the weekdays due to distance but I just got a weekend membership so I can train here on the weekends. It’s a great deal at $30 per month for Friday-Sunday access for people who can’t make the drive on the weekdays due to work. I tried the gym a couple times with the $20 day pass and it was worth it. No initiation fee and no contract for the weekend membership which I was happy with since I will be PCSing in June. You do have to cancel in person I am told before the next billing cycle.
I love my other gym for the aesthetic and location but this one has a different atmosphere. The music is always good and loud. The ceiling is super high which makes it it feel even bigger than it already is. I usually use my headphones but I find that I only wear them here to focus but tend to listen to the gym music. They have so many machines for each muscle group and the ones I’ve used are super smooth. It’s like Disneyland for training. I want to use all the machines. I’ve had to YouTube a few to figure out how to use some of them lol. People are very nice and focused on training. There has always been staff at the front, and the staff have always been super nice. The three times I’ve been here on the weekend it hasn’t been crowded at all.
The only downside I would say is that their bathrooms aren’t the nicest and locker rooms are pretty small. There are lockers in the main gym you can use to place your stuff but bring your own lock. Plenty of snacks, energy drinks, Icon Meals at the front. There’s a posing room if you’re into bodybuilding.
Get a guest pass and try it. I am looking forward to working out here on the weekends. Glad my friend brought me...
Read moreI’ve been a consistent gym-goer for a couple of years and usually really enjoy trying out new places. Recently, my regular gym was closed for the week, so I decided to check out Destination Fitness since it’s so close to home.
The facility itself is well-located and has potential, but I found the layout and organization a bit challenging, especially for anyone who isn’t used to that kind of setup. The equipment felt a little crowded, and the weights weren’t on the machines, which can be confusing if you’re not familiar with their system. When I asked for a little guidance from the girl at the front desk, the response I received wasn’t particularly welcoming.
This might be a fantastic place for seasoned athletes or bodybuilding enthusiasts who already know the ropes. But if you’re someone who’s still finding your footing or just prefers a more supportive intro, this gym might not offer the friendliest first impression.
I hope this feedback helps both the gym improve their customer service and other folks who are looking for a welcoming environment know...
Read moreNestled in the heart of Allen, Texas, Destination Dallas is the best gym for athletes, bodybuilders, and beginners alike. Motivational quotes on the wall such as “No Excuses” and a large sign depicted in a striking font with the words “Welcome Home: The Journey Continues” strike newcomers and returning lifters alike with the impression that lifting at Destination Dallas isn’t just a health choice, it’s a way of life.
