Wife bought a pair of Nike SuperRep shoes for excise bike. Drove 3 hours from the Quad Cities to Adventureland and stopped there on the way home. Got home to find that it was missing the Delta plate it needed to attach the piece necessary to clip into the exercise bike.
My wife called the store this morning and spoke to a supervisor to which he told my wife that they have the piece she needs that was missing and that they would not be able to mail it to us but instead will HOLD IT at the store for us which is 3 hours away at gas being $5 a gallon. 6 hours round trip for a small metal piece that cannot be found anywhere online including Amazon and Ebay.
This is customer service? I called the store and spoke to the manager again and he told me he can’t mail it and didn’t give me a justified reason to why he couldn’t only that “he just can’t” and insisted the best they can do is hold them at the store.
This is unacceptable and I will be contacting someone higher up…over a small piece that should of been included in the box...
Read moreI am a truck driver on medocal leave and i had gastric bypass a couple weeks ago and was in the market for some gym shoes as I don't want to lose muscle mass during all this being a woman. So I need to get in the gym. I went to 2 different stores and walked out empty handed walked into the nike outlet and didn't feel judged at all and the manager helped me! He was very knowledgeable on the different styles of shoes brought several for me to try and helped me find a running shoe that would be beneficial for the time being as I am unable to lift weights currently still restricted. But the while store was very nice!! I will definitely be back to this location for my next pair when I drop more shoe sizes or...
Read moreThis is an update from a review I listed when the Nike factory outlet store came to Altoona. I had a decent experience the first time (not 100% by any means) however, now I'm reporting a 180°. I go in to do some shopping and most of these stores do not have pants long enough for me. Since I'm about 64, however, she said, okay, go ahead and pick out some. If you like the way they feel, then we can go ahead and order them in long from their online store. Ok, so I can have them shipped to me, okay, perfect, right? Nope, I picked out at least $500 worth of apparel for them to tell me that I could not try any of it on because they were two "short-staffed". 3 employees. 1 at the register and the other 2 gossiping in the corner. Yet too short-staffed to let me try a few things on in the dressing room, and lose a $500 sale. Will never return,...
