Don’t put an application in here don’t work at this place. I don’t even know where to start I started there on overnights. I specifically asked for overnights for several reasons….. Went in memorial weekend was told to go home that the schedule had changed something called a bid even though I was told by a person in HR to continue my week out, I would be notified…. I wasn’t. …..I was taking off guard and told about the hours that they had available……. while I took the overnight because those are the best hours for my availability.. I had such high hopes and some medical problems arose in my world for my daughter than myself….. I begged them to just put me on evenings so I could have the days open for appointments but they again told me well. We have to go by the union rules and there isn’t a bid for evening hours yet then I was told by a person in HR that they could create it for a time, but that never happened .!!!!! The supervisor kept trying to find ways to get me off the floor, earning money and go do other peoples task as well!!!! I was told by a person in HR that will go unnamed that why don’t you simply get a letter from your doctor saying you can’t return to work right now and that way we can make you hireable…. My statement was well I can work. I just can’t do because I have to keep the treatments from my daughter and appointments for me so just put me on evenings and everything Would not allow me to work making me go deeper and deeper in debt now my house is in jeopardy because they wouldn’t let me work!!!!!! Went to the doctor to work in detail and told him I just have to have the letter they gave me the stipulations they didn’t like that so they wanted me to redo it and say I can’t come back….. Explain to the nurse she was with the whole situation. She waited it out and redid it because she has other clients to deal with then I got yelled at by them for that telling me it was changed when I told them why it was changed that’s when they sent the letter out of termination when I still had 15 days!!!!!!! My personal opinion, they don’t care about people they care about the Almighty Dollar. They’re very discriminatory and they don’t give people a chance!!!!!! And promises in the word Simply mean nothing they’d rather keep a supervisor that harasses people then a server who did her job and didn’t serve somebody who was already inebriated!!!!!! They were simply looking for an excuse to not have someone there that didn’t follow in their line of kiss their butt yes sir no sir persona. Well I’m sorry I got on overnights for a reason I asked for evening so I could continue my 40 hours a week I wasn’t trying to get out of work. I simply been at that point had my days full , so I was unlawful and that they should have given me nights because I was trying to work but had medical things going on during the days …….I did everything I was supposed to do and I was told that I had until 20 September, and then the next thing I know I get a termination letter on 5 September you can do everything that you’re supposed to do but doesn’t mean that they’ll be honorable in the time that I was there I was harassed and picked on by a particular supervisor because I had refused to serve somebody who was already drunk, and it was on camera When I tried to tell them that she was harassing me it went on deaf ears everything that everybody else did was just fine but they zeroed in on me and singled me out. I don’t know if it’s because of the disability in my right arm or if it’s because I’m half native American and half suede I did receive jokes about that on both counts they claim that there’s a union here but their own union it’s not state regulated from what I’ve read, but if you don’t pay union union doesn’t stick up for you discriminated against harass and terminated for just cause. I’m seeking legal counsel at this time don’t work here save yourself the...
Read moreDear Prairie Meadows,
I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the incredible experiences I've had at your casino over the past ten years. As a frequent customer, I have witnessed firsthand the ethical gambling practices that you uphold, and I truly appreciate the commitment you have made to responsible gaming.
Throughout my time at Prairie Meadows, I have experienced both wins and losses. There were moments of great excitement and others that were more challenging. However, I want to commend your staff for always providing exceptional service and going above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. From the friendly dealers to the attentive pit bosses and servers, every encounter has been met with professionalism and warmth.
I would like to share a particular highlight during my visits when the pit boss took care of me during a winning streak. Their attention to detail and genuine care for my experience truly made me feel valued as a customer.
However, I must also address an unfortunate incident that left me disappointed. Over the years, I diligently saved up my membership points and hotel stays that I was rewarded for when I had good winning streaks at Prairie Meadows. Unfortunately, I was not informed that these rewards would expire after 30 days. Imagine my dismay when, after saving them for two years, I discovered that I had nothing left to redeem. I had intended to treat my family to a memorable experience, but I was left empty-handed.
I understand that it may have been my responsibility to inquire about the expiration date of these rewards, but I do believe that clearer communication on this matter could have prevented this disappointment. I would like to suggest that Prairie Meadows consider offering a one-time reversal or perhaps even a complimentary package to me, as a loyal customer, to make up for this missed opportunity. It would not only rectify the situation but also showcase your commitment to customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Prairie Meadows has undoubtedly won more money from me than I have won from you. However, I believe that this situation presents a great marketing opportunity for your establishment. By extending a helping hand to a loyal customer, you have the chance to demonstrate that sometimes giving is better than taking. I hope you will consider my request and continue to provide exceptional experiences for all your patrons.
Thank you once again for the wonderful memories and the moments of excitement at Prairie Meadows.
I hope that they cross reference my name and give me a call or shoot me an email to see if there's anything that they can do to rectify this to help me out. I would be extremely grateful as well as would potentially bringing events and community events and exposure.
It would be a really amazing Christmas 🎄.
Sincerely, Daniel Oselette

Read moreOh, Prairie Meadows Race Track and Casino, what an absolute gem of a place! I recently had the pleasure of visiting this esteemed establishment with my beloved offspring, and let me tell you, it was an experience that will forever be etched into the annals of my memory.
The horse races, oh the horse races! My son and I were transported to a world of exhilaration and pure adrenaline as those magnificent creatures galloped around the track. The sheer majesty of watching these elegant beasts thunder past was enough to make my heart skip a beat, or maybe it was just the heartburn from the greasy hot dogs we indulged in. Either way, it was truly a captivating spectacle.
Now, let's talk about the casino. Ah, the casino, where dreams are made and wallets are emptied. I must admit, I experienced a rare stroke of luck that day, managing to win some hard-earned money. It was as if the stars aligned, or maybe I just happened to choose the right slot machine that hadn't been sucking the life out of its players. Whatever the reason, the casino gods were smiling upon me, and for that, I am forever grateful.
The ambiance of Prairie Meadows is simply unparalleled. The ever-present aroma of stale cigarettes mixed with the sweet scent of desperation wafted through the air, creating a truly unforgettable olfactory experience. The decor, well, let's just say it's an interesting blend of neon lights, outdated carpeting, and a sprinkling of "vintage" charm. Who needs modern aesthetics when you can bask in the glory of retro kitsch, right?
The staff at Prairie Meadows deserve a standing ovation for their outstanding customer service. From the slightly apathetic dealers who couldn't hide their excitement if they tried, to the cocktail waitresses who magically appeared just when I needed a refill (or five), their level of attentiveness was truly remarkable. It's almost as if they've mastered the art of indifference with a side of forced friendliness.
All in all, Prairie Meadows Race Track and Casino is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique blend of horse racing excitement and the thrill of the casino floor. The memories I made with my son will be cherished forever, or at least until our next trip to a slightly less eccentric venue. So, my dear readers, with great delight, I bestow upon Prairie Meadows an astounding rating of 8.8 out of 10. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! After all, where else can you enjoy the intoxicating aroma of nostalgia and the chance to win big...
