Cafe at the Meadows — Restaurant in Altoona

About the 6th or 7th time I've ate here now, and everytime this place has been excellent. Food and service. I have tried something new everytime, and nothing has disappointed. This place is never busy which is surprising considering how good it is. I don't go into the casino at all to gamble, but I stop at Prairie Meadows once in awhile just to eat here. It is definitely worth it.

The food was very subpar. The ladies who were working this morning when we went in...they knew how to do their jobs and were very pleasant. I had an omelet that tasted very basic. The bacon was overcooked to the point where it powdered in my mouth. My friend had the pancakes. He said they were just decent. Idk, I don't recommend it for the food but if you need a place to use wifi or to have Starbucks, this...

My husband and I stayed at Prairie Meadows for New Years and we decided to eat breakfast here.

We were greeted by a staff member standing behind the baked goods case on her cell phone who treated us as an inconvenience to her cell phone usage. We waited for her to wait on us and the entire time she was taking our order she had her cell phone in her hand.
