The worst freightliner service ever. Sent my driver with the truck there right after getting all 6 injectors replaced in oregon because check engine popped up right next day. The diagnostics was showing Fuel pump controller issue. They started doing all unnecessary tests and diagnostics on everything including ABS lights and suspension which I've never asked nor authorized. after 2 days they still did not know what was the problem when I contacted them on an update. I then suggested them to check fuel pump controller or fuel pump itself since I have a samsara that shows all the faults. Next day they said that I was right and we need to replace the fuel pump along with all the lines that they did not have in stock. So after 2 days of diagnostics they wanted me to wait until Monday and pay for another 10 hrs of labor for replacing the fuel pump. They charge 10 hours of labor for replacing the fuel pump!!! I declined further service. Just for diagnostics they charged me over $2,700 and resolved nothing. That shop has the worst unknowledgeable mechanics and management. They just scam customers by hiking up and prolonging the labor hours with unnecessary diagnostics. After I got the truck out of that hell, had the driver drive to Chicago to normal shop. Got the truck in on Monday morning at 8 am, the mechanic called me after 45 minutes by suggesting to change the fuel pump controller for $150 including labor. After another hour the truck was fixed and cleared from all the check engine lights and even clean from ABS light. Please avoid these scumbag scammers. they will just rip you off without even resolving...
Read moreThe worst Shop i ve ever been & Stay Away…!!!
My DEF light started to blink so i got towed here due to speed governed down to 5mph (Tow:1012$) (on Tuesday) Shop updated the software, replaced a bolt and did a regen. They charged 750$ and told me it was fixed. (On Wednesday) After leaving the shop, same problem repeated itself after 236miles. Came back to the shop (Thursday) and they said: “We think its the outer Nox sensor so we ordered it. And it will be here tmrw” Next day (Friday) i went back to the shop and learned that they did not order the part.!!! They said: “ ohh idk why they said the part was ordered but nope it was not so it will be tmrw which is Sat” Part came late and they closed at 15:30 so since they were closed on Sundays than we wait again… Today is Monday and service guy called and told me that Nox sensor arrived but now they forgot to order the Nox sensor Connector.! I thought he was joking for a second but nope! They really did it and now i have to wait till tmrw… I literally spent 1 whole week for them to even order a simple part! They cant even order a part god sake! Btw they were gonna change only one of the sensors even tho they usually have to change both at the same time so i told them to go ahead and change the other one which they already had in stock. This place is just pure horror and disaster.! If you have lots of time and money to waste than this is the best place for you.! I called and emailed aprx 8 different departments at Freightliner HQs to file formal complaints about this location. This management needs to be wiped clean and rehired all again with some decent...
Read moreHorrible. Horrible experience. I traded a solid 2005 W900L in on a 2014 Coronado glider January 2017. I was mislead and lead to believe the engine was pre 1999. I picked the truck up on a Saturday, loaded it on Sunday and went to Pennsylvania. Immediately developed problems. Bad oil leak at the bell housing. They had installed a drop visor, roof leaked. They installed a Herd bumper, used the wrong mounting bracket. The bumper wasn’t attached to the frame at all. Fuel mileage on the truck was 3.99. I wanted to trade back and they refused. I talked to Dan in the body shop at least 5-6 times to try to schedule repairs. He was always “booked up”. They kept making me promises but did nothing whatsoever to correct any of the issues. I took it to an independent Detroit dealer who diagnosed the fuel mileage problem. It had the wrong turbo and someone had put some backyard program in the ECM and messed it up. I bought a new Borgwarner turbo. They were going to sell me a new ECM installed for 1100.00. Cynthia, I think that was her name. It was a woman. Instructed Charlie, my salesman, (she would never talk to me directly) that they were not going to spend any money on this unit. Their answer was for me to trade for a newer, more expensive truck. Unbelievable. There is ZERO integrity in the upper management of Harrison anywhere. If one of my trucks broke down in front of one of these stores I’d have it towed. I’ve been buying trucks since 1986 and I have never been absolutely ripped off until dealing with this bunch. Thomas Wilt Wilt Trucking Lexington...
