Barefoot Campus Outfitter Ames — Attraction in Ames

I have always had good luck in the store. They have good clothing and the prices are usually cheaper than the book store.

Do NOT order online. I ordered 2 shirts on September 29th. One of them they emailed me on October 4th saying that it was out of stock after I purchased it almost a week before. I still have not received the one shirt that I ordered and it is October 17th and my online account said it was shipped on October 4th which was almost two weeks ago, keeping in mind I ordered it a week before that. There is no tracking information for the order either.

Lots of cute stuff, have shopped at this place for years. They can’t look up your receipt though, and I did not receive one when I checked out. Bought something at full price, which things don’t really go on sale so that’s to be expected, but when I returned it I could only get a store credit, AND I get the lowest price someone paid for it recently. So one week later I got a store credit for $10 less than I paid, even though I can even show my bank statement with the purchase from Barefoot Ames. They have a sign that says "Open 24 hours. (Just not in a row)". Do not expect them to be open twenty four seven. They have a sign that says "50% off the week of your birthday." However, as the cashier explained to the poor girl in front of me "Although your birthday was this past Sunday and today is Saturday, that discount only applies for the 3 days before and after your birthday. I'm sorry."
