Blue Moon Kitchen and Bar — Restaurant in Amesbury

I needed lunch and yelped and found this cool lil place. It was hard to find with navigation, but the location was super cool. The deck will be awesome in warmer months, with the water flowing below. The inside is small but well laid out and designed.

Loved the descriptions of the drinks; very fun. We opted for the French 75 and Hurricane Szn. Both were yummy and had strong pours.

We got the jalapeno wontons, cheesy good filling, nicely fried, and the hot aioli sauce was perfect; we saved it to go with our fries! I got the Turkey BLT which comes on a toasted croissant, and hubs got the bacon jam burger. Both were cooked really well, with good filling-to-bread ratios. The fries were crisp, and the seasoning was perfect. Prices were very fair - portions appropriate.

Service was outstanding. We probably will be back in the warmer months to take advantage...

What a surprising restaurant! After living in the area we never knew this quaint bar had seating overlooking the Pow Wow River. It's the perfect spot to have a few drinks and dinner. The service was excellent and not too pushy. He let us enjoy the calming scenery before putting in our orders.

The Gin & Tonic was refreshing and perfect for the hot weather we have been having. Their food menu has many delicious treats to choose from. We shared the Jalapeno Wontons, served with delicious chili ranch dipping sauce - I recommend ordering this sauce to dip your fries in. We also enjoyed the BBQ Burrito & Mediterranean Wrap. The wrap was filled with fresh veggies and creamy hummus. I would dine here again for the wide variety of sandwiches. We can't wait...

Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Building is really cool with garage doors that get opened up to the nice outdoor patio seating.

Food and drink menus change every so often, offering a variety of selections and new things to try! Some of our favorites are; oysters (good price too), jalapeños, buffalo chicken dip with homemade potato chips! Brousel sprout salad, steak sandwich, chicken sandwich, bucket drinks. Pretty much everything we’ve tried has been great!

The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating is the potato wedges. Ale House fries need to be brought over to Blue Moon. That’s all...
