What an amazing place to have a party! We had a birthday celebration for my 61 year old husband my 30 year old son and about 40 friends and family! I rented the entire place for 1/10 of my budget...We had the best time ever! The owner Mark is phenomenal and his wife is just a doll. They thought of everything! The price included unlimited bowling, shoes for everyone, music and we were allowed to bring in all of the food that we wanted! % hours of laughs, singing and drinking... ... there is a bar connected to the alley - the drinks were awesome! heavy pours. My husband and son literally said it was the BEST party of their lives. All of our friends begged Mark the owner to let them have their parties there. Mark is great! He taught me how to bowl, and it really helped! My boyfriend bowls and I wanted to learn how to so I could stop embarrassing myself and be a part of a world he adores. Can't thank that guy enough! Riverwalk has an air of family, of home, and it's a wonderful feel, like you're stepping back in time. It's refreshing to bowl at a no-frills homey place, instead of going to some place where they look down at their noses at you when you ask to rent shoes lol. Everyone there is wonderful! Bowl at Riverwalk Lanes because Mark is the best owner out there. I called him up and told him I wanted to build a lane for my son and that I was looking for some old pins. I went to pick them up with my wife and spent an hour just talking to Mark. He didn't have to be as nice as he was, but he's just that kind of guy. I walked out of there making a new friend and it's one of the last real pure candlepin alleys out there so support it because it's a great bowling alley and Mark runs it. Awesome ownership and awesome candlepin house. And Mark, my kid already used the pins and he loved it. He wouldn't put the ball down. He took it everywhere with him....
