Busy Bee Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Amesbury

I just placed an order with them through Doordash and we were checked the app 30 minutes afterwards to check on the status..... they still haven’t even started our order and I called them to ask about our order.

The gentlemen replied, “we haven’t started it yet.”

I didn’t need to hear anything else after that. I just canceled the order and wasted half an hour waiting for nothing.

This restaurant seriously needs more employees or better equipment to get orders out at a timely manner.

Didn’t get to taste their food and not interested in giving them another chance.

I don’t think it’s worth anyone’s time to order and waiting an unreasonable time. What I ordered was a cheeseburger, fries, pasta and a drink. I don’t understand why it should take them long to even prepare that? Let a lone even start it!!!!! They couldn’t even start working on it for those 30 minutes we...

Sorry to say but The only thing good about this place was the nice delivery guy. They don't have paper menus the menu is online which would be fine BUT......it's not very clear, the prices you get charged are not what is says online and it's unclear the way it's written. I order a fisherman Platter which came with tons of unnecessary fries, 3 or 4 scallops and shrimp, a few clam strips and 4 onion rings (for 24$ mind you 😒) I also ordered a roast beef on a bulky roll. I asked if the roast beef was rare and was told yes.... When it arrived it was not rare and the bulky roll wasn't soft. So needless to say after spending 35$ I was a unsatisfied customer who won't...

Ordered two pizzas to the tune the total of $47. Which, whatever food is expensive as hell right now. However, one would think that the cheese on the large pizza would be melted at the very least. We ordered a LG buffalo chicken finger pizza with feta, this is what we have ordered several times and it's always been decent. Not tonight. The small cheese was fine, hence the two stars, but the lack of accountability from the owner is why I am writing.
