Wanderlust Tattoo & Piercing — Attraction in Amherst

This review has been a long time coming. I HATE my tattoo. It's not even close to what I asked for. During the consultation I had given my price range at around $300. But I was shown by the artist a gorgeous tattoo on google that she said would cost between 400-500+ and during the consultation I told her I did not care about my budget If I can get a tattoo close to the quality of the reference. THIS WAS NOT WRITTEN DOWN, during the conversation and she argued with me at the appt about what I had said I wanted. Because the appt was non refundable and we were talking in front of other clients and people I was extremely Embarrassed and told her that I was okay with the art but I wanted thin line work to match the same quality of the reference. She promised me everything, and more. But the tattoo came out looking inconsistent and odd. Plus I ended up paying over 400 because I said I would for a tattoo like the reference.... I also told her I did not care if we only did the line work for the tattoo if the end result needed more time I was willing to get it started. But she finished the tattoo with thick lines and heavy shading. Very clean and detailed tattoo shop in Amherst, MA. Stephen who owns the shop is very welcoming. Cameron, who was my tattoo artist was very friendly and responsive. Cameron is very patient and did well with a few questions that I had before my appointment; answering via text message. The shop uses Square App so payment is pretty easy. Great experience. The whole parlor was clean and they make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. It's a very welcoming environment. Cameron did my tattoo and he helped me with my personal design over the course of several days without any pressure. All emails were answered the same day and when I went in for my tattoo the inking experience was great, clean place, health standards are above and beyond. This wasn't my first tattoo but it was my first tattoo there and it could not have been better....
