Found this wonderful little boutique while on a business trip to western MA. To start, finding parking was actually quite easy, right on the street with coin meter parking. The shop was very aesthetically pleasing on the outside, with a couple on manikins with alluring attire and a cute sign guiding your attention toward what you're looking for. The entrance connected to 2 side-by-side stores and I accidentally went left, when it should've been right. Coincidentally, Suzanne was right there to greet me to guide me to her store to help out. As a side note, I'm very happy to see neighboring stores with such a apparently good relationship as to visit one-another. Anywho, Suzanne brings me over to her boutique, asks if I was the gentleman who had called the day prior. I had felt uncomfortable walking into an intimates store as a man, I didn't want to offend or make anybody uncomfortable. On the contrary, Suzanne was able to relieve a lot of my anxiety and I was able to relax enough to start feeling the materials and looking closely at the construction of the items. I was quite impressed with her selection! She explained to me the uniqueness of the items and how they are actually hand made, in many instances and she meets with the makers regularly, both locally and internationally. Her boutique is small, not an enormous selection, but what she did have was of impressive quality and elegance. The attention to detail, fabric choice, and overall build was very different from any department store or online find that just disappoints. I wished that there would've been a more varied selection, but I totally understand the concept of her business. Again, this isn't a limitless option department store of varied quality, these are gorgeous handmade, high quality pieces. There were selections from practical and pretty daily wear items and pj's; all the way to little red strappy sets and sheer sensual pieces that'll make you blush. Suzanne spent the entire time making sure to learn what my wife might like and to be sure we would be happy.

To sum up: The store was overall very clean, bright, and classy. Though a bit on the pricey side compared to department stores, the quality and build is incomparable! Rest assured there are selections of sales items to choose from. Suzanne is very friendly, patient, and caring. Overall, I cannot recommend Art of Intimates enough! Not only is the selection of lingerie lovely and from brands who truly make things that last, but the atmosphere and shopping experience is unbeatable. Suzanne, the owner, is an incredibly helpful resource when shopping and will let you know if things are fitting properly or not. She's so loving of her customers and celebratory of people if they want to step out of the dressing room for another opinion. It's truly an uplifting and body-positive experience.
