McCowin Park is a fantastic community space with something for everyone. The park is spacious and beautifully maintained, featuring large open fields perfect for soccer, multiple well-designed playsets for kids, a fun splash pad, and a refreshing swimming pool during the summer months. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the pickleball courts, tennis court, and disc golf course. The park also offers pleasant walkways for a casual stroll or light exercise, along with convenient restrooms for visitors.

One of the park’s few downsides is the presence of motorways running through the area, which can slightly detract from the sense of uninterrupted green space. Additionally, given the size and popularity of the park, it would be great to see more than one tennis court to better accommodate players.

Overall, McCowin Park is a well-rounded and vibrant place for recreation, relaxation, and family fun—a gem in the...

I've loved coming to this park since I was 10, and now bring my kids here to play. We've loved the swings, the playground, the splash pad, and the open grass areas. My family and I have even played pickleball at the courts. We've loved the friendly environment, however, after events like Ammon days and the farmers market, there is so much trash everywhere. It doesn't get picked up for days after and is littering the grass, in the bark for the playground, and even on the splash pad. Also, the bathrooms (though I don't expect much from park bathrooms) are usually pretty gross and poorly maintained. We come here as often as we can because we love coming to the pool, splash pad, and playground, but I wish it was a little bit better...

Went to this park to see the elf village. I gave four stars, because the overall experience was fantastic, but the village had mostly little elf looking houses that had lights, but only one display with windows and elves. It was advertising, which I'm fine with. I just had much higher expectations.

However, despite the long drive and the disappointment with what we ended up seeing, we weren't expecting all the lights and the beautiful Christmas tree. The overall experience ended up being so magical that we had a fabulous time, and absolutely loved our visit!

We were the only ones there on Christmas Eve, which made it even more magical. Not sure if we should have stayed long if it were crowded, but it was empty and...
