Phase 4 Stereo — Local services in Ammon

Was told what I was looking for was not doable for my car. Felt totally shunned and left to myself as I wandered the skeleton of what used to be a great stereo shop....that used to have a passion for customers getting a great stereo. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, this has been the case the last two visits as well.

FORTUNATELY, the world is great and I have the internet highway at my fingertips. With a little research, I opted to take a chance and ordered online and committed the sin of not supporting a local business. I installed my own stereo components today after waiting only a few short days for my packages to arrive. After being told I was never going to have anything that was going to work well in my car.....I am more than pleased with the outcome and probably paid half of what I would have should the gentleman have found something to sell me.

I am saddened, truly. Phase 4 used to be a great business that took great pride in what they provided their customers. I remember bragging to anyone that would listen about my purchases from Phase 4 when I was younger. This is not the same business. The world has ruined great places like this, and obviously, the staff has given up on representing what Phase 4 used to be. 15-20 years ago, the salesman would ask to go look at your car and get excited about all of the options available, and fill your head with all sorts of possibilities. Instead, I was shunned last weekend and the salseman looked more excited to run back to the safety of the counter to lean on. I am assuming they are simply aiming at making sells online, as the only other employee didnt once look up from his computer to even acknowledge actual live potential customers in the store. I hope a new business will take its place and reignite hope in the future of the Idaho Falls stereo community. Until then, the sellers on EBay will gladly take...

If I could give 0 stars I would they don't even deserve a 1 star rating. Don't go here I had my car stereo installed from them and they did a half ass job. They only hooked up the right side of my truck. I blew over 3 subs leaving it where the guy had tuned it, they told me that it my fault I'm blowing subs.They don't know what they are doing and are very unprofessional,I feel bad for the people that don't know that much about steros and thats why im writing this long review. If any of your family or friends have had there stereo done by phase 4 I would get it checked by someone who knows what they are doing. I would recommend limitless electronics, I've totally redone everything phase 4 has done from limitless. It sounds 10 times better now that its done right. I had my stereo system installed by Phase 4 in July. By September, the RCA jacks failed and had to be replaced. Then in December, the entire system went out, and they discovered that the wiring was catching fire! They told me it was due to a faulty fuse. On January 13th, I found my car with the seat completely burned, and my insurance company deemed it a total loss—$30,000 gone.

I called Phase 4 immediately, and the store manager came out within 10 minutes, took pictures, and left. Since then, they have ignored every call and email from both me and my insurance company. I gave them multiple chances to address the situation privately, but they refused to respond. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. If you value your safety and vehicle, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
