New to the area, and looking for a good Chinese restaurant. This was NOT it. There was a party that was just wrapping up and leaving. There was only one person to take payments, answer phone orders, handle take-out orders, and serve customers seated at the restaurant. There were only four other people in the restaurant when we sat down. Had to wait 15 minutes before our order was taken. We had been there for an hour before we received our food.
The Pork fried rice was literally steamed white rice w/bits of pork, a small amount of scrambled egg, and some green onion. Absolutely NO flavor. The beef w/broccoli also fell flat, with little savory flavor. The chicken chow mein just wasn’t! I’m not sure what it was…it was not like any chow mein I have ever had…it had those short, hard & crunchy noodles (like La Choy brand in a bag), with a brown sauce, carrots, bamboo shoots, onion & celery bits. This dish was the most savory one of them all, but was missing the typical chow mein noodles. I noticed that the waitress brought out a huge plate of chow mein noodles to another customer, so perhaps she misunderstood what we ordered. The lemon chicken and sesame chicken dishes were identical: both had a sweet glaze sauce over crispy coated chicken. No difference in taste. The only difference between the two dishes, was that the “lemon” chicken had slices of lemon on top.

Read moreMost of my food was good. The lo mein was mediocre, very little flavor, the noodles weren't the best quality either. The kung pao tasted good but seemed to be 70% celery. The sweet and sour chicken tasted good but considering they don't sauce it the fried chicken was soggy. A few pieces were crispy. The flavor was good though. I think the food might have be better if they weren't as busy.
They were crazy busy when I came in. I waited almost 10 minutes before any employee came out to check if anyone was there. The employee that took my order was helpful and polite but also seemed overwhelmed with all the orders. I was told it would be 40 minutes. I waited almost an an hour and fifteen minutes for my food. The one employee that actually talked to me apologised a few times. I watched 3 people wait for over 10 minutes to find our that their phone order would be another 20+ minutes and then cancel the order.
I might try them again but I'll call and see if...
