I went recently to Moda 2000, I was so excited and when I arrived I was really disappointed.
They hype you all up seeing the YouTube videos and Instagram posts, but when you get there it's absolutely disappointing.
I walked in and they asked if we had an appointment and we did ( It's required ) a line out the door before they even opened, everyone was so eager to get in they all seemed like they were ready to try on a dress and say yes.
They have no variety, a bunch of the same dresses in different colors. Tiny little place, looks really different then the videos you see. They aren't very attentive nor do they give you the same kind and welcome hello or anything.
Very unorganized, they have their stylists go hunt you down. Then ask you questions about what you want etc. After that they cram you into a room with about 20 other girls all trying to put petticoats and dresses that weigh so much. Keep in mind the room was about maybe the size of a small living room, no AC or even a fan.
I must say, Ashlynn or Ashley ( the girl who helped me put on the petticoats and dresses ) not the stylist, was super sweet and kind! For the stylist, she seemed to say every dress was the one, when I clearly mentioned the style and colors I wanted.
They stylist was super busy and had no time for me, like I said Ashlynn or Ashley was INCREDIBLY NICE, super duper sweet and kind always talking to you and just all around a really nice person. My stylist on the other hand, helping every other girl then me, maybe went out once with me to show my mother, sister and godmother. Other than that it was Ashlynn ( I'm really sorry if I got your name wrong) who ran to grab the dresses I wanted to try and take me to show my mother.
In the end I didn't walk out with a dress I wanted because nothing caught my eye nor did I feel like a princess in them. Sadly they rush you so much and you walk out with a headache. I believe Moda 2000 is overrated and hyped up...
Read moreI liked the customer service at first. When we got the dress and finalize it I asked the lady that helped me to sell it as is. With the same crinolinas and the most expensive one they had but to looked as my daughter tried it. Well I believe it because they did added me a crinolina and it was about $80 extra..... when I went to pick up the dress they came up with this " this is the crinolina u payed" let me tell u the crinolina didn't help the dress at all! It needed to cut from the bottom or something.. the girl did recommend a bigger crinolina the biggest size they had and it was an extra cost of $170 dlls. I said thats the one I told the girl I wanted and she supposedly added... and the girl that help on the fitting room said no dear u payed for a regular one. In order to get the volume u desire u need to buy the one that cost $170 on top of the one u have... of course I threw a fit because i had trust the girl that made my invoice and total at first! To make the long story short I bought it because it was easier for my daughter to walk and the dress looked better..... but talking to my aunt she said she had that same problem with my cuz dress at moda 2000
This place is nice u get to try the dress and define is popular. Feel like dresses are over priced and after I purchase a friend told me to go to downtown and looked for the dress my daughter wanted. And let me tell u I found a similar one for half the price 😬 but since I had already gave a $500 deposit well I had no choice...
So people to avoid this shop around. And makesure you ADRESS THIS TO THW PERSON WHO IS SELLING IT AND DOING YOUR INVOICE....because if not u will have to pay around $170 when u pick up after u pay...

And trust me, The Palazzo is absolutely stunning! Think European style mansion, sweeping staircases, intricate gold details, and picture perfect settings everywhere you turn.
