Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure is a colorful and lively celebration of all things Pixar — and it’s absolutely magical! 🎢🌈✨

The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, with stunning views of Paradise Bay and the iconic Pixar Pal-A-Round (the giant Ferris wheel) creating the perfect backdrop. Walking along the pier, you’re surrounded by vibrant Pixar-themed decorations and music that instantly put you in a fun, carefree mood.

The rides are the highlight — Incredicoaster is an absolute must for thrill-seekers, with its smooth tracks and thrilling drops themed around The Incredibles. The Toy Story Midway Mania ride is always a blast — it's interactive and competitive in the best way! For a more relaxed vibe, the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Jessie’s Critter Carousel are perfect for younger visitors.

The food here is also on point — the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums are ridiculously good (warm and gooey!), and the Poultry Palace chicken drumsticks are surprisingly delicious. There are also tons of Pixar-themed snacks and treats throughout the pier.

Pixar Pier perfectly blends nostalgia and excitement, making it a fantastic spot for both kids and adults. Whether you’re riding the Incredicoaster or just strolling along the pier with a churro in hand, it’s pure Disney magic. Highly recommend spending some time soaking it all...

Almost like walking on a boardwalk Pixar Pier is modeled after the beaches' boardwalk carnival extensions that head over the water. There is a midway area complete with games and prizes. Rides in this area include Pixar pal around and Incredicoaster, Jessie's critter carousel, and Inside out emotional whirlwind. There are also fast food places for snacks, churros, and the Lamplight lounge for sit down dining.

There is a sitting area near Incredicoaster that is in a rooftop open air shelter where you can get out of the sun and relax a bit. There really isn't any shade in this area so any place to get out of the heat is a welcome relief.

Have a look at some of the Boardwalk style signs as you walk around the pier. They are fascinating and have catchy phrases. Course you can always catch the iconic Mickey Mouse circle right in the middle of the Pixar Pal around. It's a great place to get some nice photos.

CA Adventure's World of color one takes place here which is their nightime entertainment. This is also home to the seasonal Ogie Boogie bash during Halloween.

Since a lot of the attractions are meant for children expect to see large crowds here. Yet your day at CA Adventure would not be complete without walking through it and seeing it. Great family filled area...

Easy access to BOTH parks which includes a private entrance for Pixar Pier guests for California Adventure. This access is located directly across the hotel. The Disneyland access is from The Grand Hotel which is also directly across the hotel. Both accesses require your hotel key card. Amazing hotel and lobby staff Amazing fireworks and California Adventure views. They have a special roof top deck viewing area for fireworks. This comes in handy if you don't want to stay at the parks to watch them. Very chill and quiet environment (which is great when you have been at the busy parks all day) Older esthetics (they will be updating this hotel soon) No restaurants but it has a self serve snack and drinks area for purchase.This was great for grabbing breakfast on the go! The elevator is a bit tricky and has a different system. You select your level number on the screen and then it tells you which elevator to use. So during check in time it was busy but other than that it was ok. Overall we enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay...
