It's what you expect from a local market; everything is more expensive than elsewhere but the produce is amazing and so worth it. Best tomatoes ever; big and juicy with real tomato flavor. Yeah, they spoil if you hold them too long, cause they are chosen to be great tomatoes, not to sit on a shelf for weeks. I stop in here regularly to keep these delicious beauties in my kitchen. I just got the most amazing strawberries here; from Chesnee SC - buy local! - I ate them all straight from the basket! These are the first strawberries I've had in ages that taste like STRAWBERRIES!!! I'll be going back for a bigger basket! The staff is all young guys, several tatted and pierced, always polite and helpful. You never have to look for them, one is always available, usually behind the counter ready to help. They have great boiled peanuts as well, boiled there, and fresh butter, and a lot of other farm market stuff like preserves, jams, pickles, and breads. My hubby loves the chow chow so much I am putting up some myself this year. Read moreI visit the Concord Market most weeks. I especially appreciate that they have okra when the Anderson Farmer's Market farmers are done for the season. Their local apple selection is fabulous! It's introduced me to many new variety of apples. Zach introduced me to boiled peanuts and I love them. They sell a big bag (maybe 20 lbs) of deer apples and I've purchased these for a neighbor and myself. They have lovely seasonal products - pumpkins, Christmas trees and wreaths. Highly recommend them. Staff is very friendly and helpful - especially putting the big bag of apples...
