Harbor Freight — Local services in Anderson

This is by far my new favorite place to go... not just to shop or stop by and get one or two things, but actually spend a lot of my spare time here!

Do not be deterred by low star ratings ( not for this store, but the overall Harbor Freight tools rating you might see elsewhere)... that I have seen, at least. The most common complaint is that something is cheap, but you must understand there are usually three different tiers of quality for whatever it is you're buying. Some items are super, super cheap, can be very well made, and others are well, you get what you pay for, you know! HOWEVER...THE CHEAPLY MADE THINGS... ARE MADE FROM CHEAPER MATERIALS, hence the cheap price that goes with it! You get your money's worth out of it before it does break or wear out! So this should not affect the rating of this store especially. And I'll tell you why With all that said, let's move on...

The staff are all amazing, fun to talk to, and so knowledgeable about the products! Which is a feet in and of itself because there are so many products in the store!

I go here all the time and every single time I go I find something new and useful. But the best part about it... is becoming a member of the INSIDE TRACK CLUB.. for the one-time yearly fee for only 30 bucks, you'll save that on your first purchase. Well, just a little caveat, you start getting the discounts after your first purchase. But don't let that deter you. It pays off on your first visit, I promise! Just this year I have gotten 6 free buckets just like the ones at Lowe's, they have weekends where every day you come in and make a single purchase of any amount and get a free bucket or a tool. But remember, you have to be a member, so do it!

Not to mention all the discounts that you get on random items throughout the week, and they post coupons as well, so look out for those in your email! They really do have some competitive price and quality items here. You can fill up your garage in about a week, seriously.

Love this place after shopping here and I other Harbor freight I can't say I have a lot of complaints at least none in the past that I can recall but recently I bought a bladder to unclog camper toilet when I arrived the young lady was trying to navigate and couldn't figure out why you wouldn't let the refund go through she called the manager over she explained that they're not supposed to be you're supposed to get ahold the company which seems absolutely ridiculous to me I bought it a few days prior made sure it was sterile and clean when I brought it in when I stuck it into the toilet came apart so when I pulled it up half was so she agreed to go ahead and return it they found it in the computer under a membership name but she said I had to have so okay I'll go look for the receipt it took me about 10-15 minutes I come back in both ladies I had worked with previously were no longer right there so the other girl comes across the same she calls her manager that's within few feet away not sure where the other manager went maybe it was the end of her shift don't know she told me she couldn't that I had to go through this I explained to her that the other lady had agreed to return it she said well that's not it won't make me stop but it's very upsetting to lose $7 on something that I bought that Miss function within the first use I work two jobs I don't have time to make phone calls get to a post office and get this part shipped back nor should I have to pay to ship apart back that I already paid to use that I was...
